Sri Ganapathi Sthothram – Lyrics and Meanings

|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

I shall meditate upon the supreme Lord Ganesha who is attired in white majestic garments, he has the luster of Lord Chandhra, he has four hands and he is ever pleasing, I shall earnestly pray to remove all kinds of obstacles.

I shall meditate upon supreme Lord Ganesha/Gajanana, who is worshiped by Lord Bhrama and all the deities and offers initial obeisance for the accomplishment of tasks, I shall sincerely prostrate before him.

I shall worship supreme Lord Ganesha who is Yekadhantha, he resembles Lord Surya who is the cause for the immense delight of lotus like face of Goddess Sri Parvathi, he is Gajamukha/elephant faced, and he is the provider of abundance of boons to his passionate devotees.

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha, who is fond of sweet puddings/Modhakam, and I shall earnestly pray to remove all kinds of obstacles in our lives.

I shall prostrate before the lotus feet of supreme Lord Ganesha, who is the son of Goddess Sri Parvathi, he has elephant face, he is surrounded by various Bhoothaganas, he is fond of fruits of Kapiththa and Jambhoo, and he is the remover of grief and sorrows of his ardent devotees.
