Skandha speaks “ I shall prostrate before Goddess Ganga who has glorious myths to be praised, she is capable to  overthrow all kinds of miseries and perils of her worshiper, she symbolizes Shadanga/six parts of Vedanga and  Shruthi, who is capable to provide Shadguna and  abundance of prosperity to her worshiper, she provides internal acquiescence, wealth, grains etc.. she is superior among the rivers/Saridhvara, she is Surasa/lovely, she is Suprabha/splendid, she is river of deities, her sacred waters are capable to remove miseries and sorrows, it cures all kinds of illnesses and works as  supreme medicine/Mahaushadham, she is deserved to be venerated, Ganga represents female ascetic and beautiful verse, she is Saraswathi, her sacred waters are capable to provide wealth, she is worshiped by all the deities, she dwells in the matted hair locks of Sthanu, she has stability and steadfastness, she provides happiness and health, she symbolizes auspiciousness and provides  abundance of fortunes to her worshiper, she has descended down to Earth from the world of celestials,  she is subtle form, she is Svadha/refreshing drink offered to ancestors at the time of final rite and Svaha as well, she has embodied as water for purifying souls, she is Samudhraroopini, she has streamed down  from the haven in order to destroy all the sufferings of her worshiper, she is eulogized by Smrithi, her sacred waters has the spiritual fervor to eradicate worldly bondage of the worshiper, she symbolizes fortune, beauty and twilight, she has possessed all the essence, she is Haripriya/beloved to Lord Hari, she is Hrishikeshi/Goddess of senses, she is Hamsaroopa and Hiranmayi as well, she eradicates scarcity, disrespect and pride, she provides prosperity, she removes wickedness, she is merciful with lot of endurance.”
