|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

Madhava/Krishna was completely mystified by the cupid arrows of Manmatha, he had taken a seat in marvelous woods on the river banks of Yamuna, the closest companion of Radharani speaks “ Oh! Krishna,  Radharani feels the cool rays of the moon and fragrant sandalwood pastes multiply her excruciating pain of separation from you, even the cool Malaya breeze does not give enough solace to her, she is undergoing agonizing pain of cupid arrows of Manmatha, she is frightened and ultimately she is immersed in the meditation on your glorious form Krishna, she is completely besieged by the pain of separation from you. Oh! Krishna, Radharani is severely tormented by the cupid arrows of Manmatha, she is creating a mystical shield with all her heart resembles droplets on the lotus flower petals.  Oh! Krishna, Radharani is creating a magnificent flower bed for amusement which resembles to the cupid arrows of Manmatha, she is undertaking severe austerities in order to attain amorous sport with you and remain in the embrace of you in the marvelous flower bed.  Oh! Krishna, her eyes are filled with tears of separation, her lotus-like face is gloomy, like the battered moon causing trickling nectar by the fierce teeth of the eclipse,  Oh! Krishna, she is making a mark with the musk and depicts your magnificent form with the arrows of flowers of mango in hand, with intense love she offers sincere obeisance to it.  Oh! Krishna, she is continuously pleading and weeping at the thought of you, she is falling at your feet, and even the nectar-like cool rays of the moon causes intolerable pain to her.   Oh! Madhava, she is completely absorbed in your thoughts and feels dejected at the thought your absence, she cries sometimes or laughs or feels depressed or weeping like a child, or moving unsteadily or feeling desolate in affliction.

The above are the magnificent verses composed by Sri Jayadeva, it portraits the wretched state of Radharani from the separation of Lord Hari, was narrated by the closest companion of Radharani.
