|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
I shall meditate upon supreme Lord who
has various incarnations such as Mathsya/giant fish, Koorma/tortoise,
Varaha/wild boar, Naramriga/half lion and half man, Vamana/dwarf,
Bhargava/Parasurama, Rama, Balarama and Krishna. Oh! Krishna, Oh! Kripasamudhra who is the
ocean of mercy, Lord who is free from desires personified as Buddha, he is the
store house of virtues, Oh! Krishna, who have impending manifestation as Kalki,
he is the destroyer of wicked people, he is supreme Lord of deities, he is
eternal and pure, he is supreme bliss, he is supreme Lord who is incarnated in
most pleasing form, he symbolizes purity
and he is Paramapavana/purifier of souls, he is incarnated as cowherd, he is
beloved of cowherds, young maidens of cowherds and cattle, he is Achyutha who
is mysterious and Parathathva, he is the destroyer of miseries and sorrows of
worshiper, he is the protector of Narayanatheertha and Victory to Gopala/little
Krishna who is personified as cowherd and protector of cows !
Sri Krishnaleela Tharangini is the quintessence
of devotion to Lord Vasudeva who symbolizes fortune, in order to cultivate
intense devotion in the intellect, it comprises the birth of Krishna and
various amusements of Krishna as a little lad of cowherd, and the marvelous
fairy tales of protector of cowherds and the cows, mischievous Krishn’s
pilfering clothes of young maidens of
cowherds, Krishna elevates the Mount Govardhana, Krishnas most celebrated
Rasaleela with the beautiful young maidens of cowherds, Kamsa’s death, Krishnas
arrival to the sacred city Dwaraka, Krishnas wedding ceremony with Rukmini. The glorious verses of Krishnaleela
Tharangini begin with the birth of Lord Krishna, and followed by the
imprisonment of Ugrasena, Devaki and Vasudeva. Lord Bhrama, Lord Indra, Goddess
Earth and Sanakadhis approaches Lord Hari, after listening to their appeal,
Lord Hari decides to incarnate on Earth as eighth child of Devaki and Vasudeva,
seven children were already killed immediately after the birth by Kamsa, at the
advice of Maharishi Narada, seventh child was Sangharshana, Krishna was brought
to Gokulam immediately after birth, later he was moved to Mathura due to the
harassment of numerous wicked demons.
