The glorious verses praising the splendor of Goddess Sri Durga
is composed by Rishi Mahavishnu and Rishi Maheshvara, it has Anushtup as
Chandhass, presiding deity is Sri Durgaparameshvari, Hram as Beejam, Hreem as Shakthi, Hroom as
Keelakam, it is recited to perform Japa Homa and Archana, inorder to get fulfiled
all the desires of the worshiper. I
shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is absolute truth, she is easily
attainable for the virtuous, she showers abundance of boons and prosperity, she
is Bhavani who eradicates wordly bondages and relieve the souls from repeated
births, she is Arya/excellent, Durga, and Jaya/unconquerable, she is safest
heaven to her passionate devotees, she have three eyes and she is wielded in
powerful trident and vicious weapon Pinaka, she is chithra who symbolizes
manifolds, chanda/fierce, Ghanda/decked in garlands of bell, she undertakes
severe austerities and penances, she symbolizes intellect, mind, ego etc.. she
is Chidhroopa who is wise, she symbolizes intellect, she is Anantha who is
eternal, she is Bhavani who can be
gracious as well as indefinite, she guides us throught he righteous path, she
is personified as Shambhavi/consort of Shambu, Devamatha/Adithi, she is
thoughtful and fond of precious gems, she symbolizes all art forms and
knowledge, she is Dhakshakanya who is the daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she
obstructed the grand Yajja of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is Aparna who undertakes
austerities without consuming even leaves, she represents all colors, she is
Padala/Durga, she is attired in majestic silk garment, she is decked in
magnificent anklets that creates melodious music, she is Eshani who is the
consort of Eshvara, she is Empress of the supreme abode of Mount Kailash, she
is unfathomable and extremely valorous, she is Rudrani who has fierce form, she
is supremely gorgeous among the female deities, she is personified as
Vanadurga, and Mathangi who is the
daughter of Sage Mathanga, she has various incarnations as Bhrami, Maheshvari,
Indhri, Kaumari, Vaishnavi, Chamunda, Varahi, Lakshmi etc. she has assumed the
form of Purusha as well, she is Vimala who is unblemished, she symbolizes
wisdom and knowledge, righteous deeds, she is imperishable, she is the provider
of supreme wisdom and knowledge, she is copious, and compassionate, she crushed
the pride of Mahishasura, Madhukaitabha, and
Chanda Munda, she symbolizes all Shashthra, she is the destroyer of
Dhanava, she carries numerous weapons in her hands, she is decked in Asthra and
Shashthra as well, she is Bhadhrakali, she is youthful, she is personified as
young maiden, she is courteous and she can be proud as well, she has various
vicious forms, she carries the whole Universe in her womb, she is the provider
of valor to worshiper, she has dreadful appearance, she is highly enthusiastic
and most powerful, she represents colossal fire, she is fierce, she is
Kalarathri/dark hours of the night, she undertakes severe penances/Thapasvini,
she is personified as Narayani, Mahadevi, Vishnumaya, Shivathmika, Shivadhoothi,
Karali, Anantha, Parameshvari, Kathyayini, Mahavidhya, Mahamedha, Gauri,
Sarasvathi, Savithri, Bhramavadhini etc… she represents all philosophies and sacred hymns etc.. The above are the various
sacred names of Goddess Mahadevi, it should be recited on daily basis with
utmost faith and devotion, it will eradicates intimidation from enemies and
poverty, it provides all the richness and happiness, students who are desired
for supreme knowledge would attain the same, worshiper who are desired for
wealth would attain the same, young who desires for appropriate companion would
attain the same, worshiper who desires to get rid of Rinas would attain the
same, childless couple would attain virtuous progeny, worshiper who is troubled
by various illnesses would get rid of the same, worshiper would attain
abundance of wealth and success in all endeavor, worshiper should venerate
Goddess Mahadevi to attain all that desired, it is highly propitious to worship
