Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our
miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, when I get terrified by the harsh and alarming
speeches of the emissaries of Yama, while I get caught in their hands, while I
was tortured by the emissaries of Yama
during the hours of leaving the material world, kindly present in my intellect
with Goddess Uma in order to command Yama in favor of me. Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly
eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, I have been completely immersed in the sensual pleasure and worldly matters, I
have been engaged in immoral acts, gossiping, cheating, and putting others in
crisis, I shall take refuge at your lotus feet, Oh! Bhava, kindly forgive me,
you are my safest shelter place from the sorrows of worldly existence, Oh!
Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, I have
been fastened by the hook of worldly matters and I was taking extreme pleasure
out of it, my intellect was engaged in to adventurous tasks like crocodile, Oh!
Paramalaya who resides in the supreme abode, Oh! Paripalaya who is the
protector of living beings, I am completely worn out of distress, afflictions,
sorrows, and grief, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries and
sorrows, Oh! Hara, my intellect has always been completely soaked in the
worldly bondage like barren land, being protected and loved by lovely woman, mother,
father and children, Oh! Shankara, you are in the blissful association of
beloved consort Goddess Girija, therefore kindly protect us. Oh! Shivashankara
! Kindly eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, if I would have been
immersed in the veneration of you, which could bring liberation from repeated
births, and protect from death, I need not witness these terrifying scene, I
would have born as elephant or tortoise and I would have purified my intellect
as well, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh!
Hara, you are the preserve of Universe and its living beings, you are too
compassionate, you are beneficent, Oh! Shiva, kindly forgive us, don’t be indifferent
or turn away from us, you symbolizes massive fire, even though you are well
supporting Girisutha who is the daughter of mount Himavan, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly
eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, you are the father of living
beings who takes grand procession along with ShivA, in order to eradicate the
fears of worldly existence, you symbolizes auspiciousness, kindly shower your
compassionate grace on us, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries
and sorrows, Oh! Hara, Oh! Sharanagatha who is the safest heaven to worshiper,
you are the commander of Universe and its living beings, Oh! Karunamritha who
is too compassionate resembles to nectar, you are ocean of mercy, I shall take refuge at your lotus
feet, I shall embrace them, Oh! Bhishak, who is the superior cure for all kinds
of illnesses, you symbolizes supreme intellect, you are the supreme cure of the
Universe, kindly do not discard us. Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our
miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, I have committed numerous terrible sins which
deserves hundreds and millions of hellish torture, Oh! Mrida, Oh! Bhava, kindly
shower your compassionate grace along with ShivA, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly
eradicate our miseries and sorrows, Oh! Hara, your lotus feet are capable to
eradicate all the evilness of Kali era, you have restored the toxic poison on
the throat, you have crushed the pride of Kamalasana/Bhrama, your lotus feet
are worshiped by Kamalapathi/Vishnu, you symbolize kindness, Oh! Karunakara,
you are worshiped by illustrious Rishis and Sages, kindly protect us from the unfathomable
ocean of worldly existence. Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries
and sorrows, Oh! Hara, Oh! Vijithendhriya who has won over the senses, your
lotus feet are pure, worshiped by
deities and Bhrama, you are eminent in destroying extreme fears and anxieties of worldly
existence, you are capable to provide liberation from worldly existence, you
are most worshiped, you are adorned in venomous serpents as ornaments, you are
supreme ascetic, Oh! Madhananthaka who is the slayer of Kamadeva, I shall take
refuge at your lotus feet, Oh! Shivashankara ! Kindly eradicate our miseries
and sorrows, Oh! Hara, Oh! Thripuranthaka who is the destroyer of demons of
Thripura, Oh! Thridhasheshvara who represents water, fire, Yama, and Indhra,
Oh! Thrigunathmaka who represents Sathvik, Rajasic and Thamasic natures, Oh!
Vishadhooshana who eradicate toxic poison, I shall take refuge at your lotus
feet which is the savior of distressed, Oh! Kanakasana who is majestically
seated on the grand throne made of precious yellow metal, attired in marvelous
garment of saffron/golden colored, you are eminent in eradicating the evil effects of
Kali era, I shall take refugee at your lotus feet.
