Sri Shivashakthi Kritham Sri Ganadheesha Sthothram – Lyrics and meanings

Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakthi speaks “ I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha who is  Lord of Ganas, he is  commander of Ganas, he symbolizes devotion, he is Lord of Lords, he is the provider of welfare and happiness to his devotees, he is supreme bliss, he is the consort of Siddhi and Buddhi, he is adorned Adhishesha on navel, I shall prostrate before Dundiraja, his two hands are in Abhya/shelter and Varadha/boon hastha posture respectively, he is weilded in powerful weapon Parashu, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha who holds  Srini and adorned in Adhishesha on navel, he is most promising, he is all pervading, he is worshiped by all, I shall prostrate before Ganesha who is virtuous, he symbolizes absolute Bhramam, he is void of properties, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Gajanana who has elephant face, he is absolute Bhramam who imparts the knowledge of self, he receives initial oblation, he is eminent, he receives initial veneration, I shall prostrate before Heramba who represents mother and father, he represents all the deities, he is Vighnesha who eradicate obstacles, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who can cause impediments, he eradicates obstacle of fervent devotees, I shall prostrate before Lambodhara who has pot sized belly, he is Lord of Yoga, whoever venerates him with intense devotion and faith would attain serenity, he symbolizes Yoga,  he is most venerable, worship of Lord Ganesha would eradicate all the obstacle and Lord Ganesh would get highly pleased with it.”  In this way, Lord Ganadheesha was eulogized by Lord Maheshvara and Goddess Parvathi.


Lord Ganesha speaks “The above  are the glorious verses constructed by Lord Maheshvara and Goddess Parvathi would provide intense devotion, whoever reads or listens to it would attain welfare, happiness, virtuous offspring and grand children, Bhukthi and Mukthi as well, it provide abundance of wealth and grains to the worshiper.”
