I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Adhithya,
who is Universal monarch, he is the commander of thousands and millions of
Bhramanda, he is Lord of day light, he is Adithya who is son of Devi Adhithi and Sage Kashyapa, he has
supreme radiance which perforate the whole Universe, he eradicates distress,
depression, miseries and sufferings, he resides in the supreme abode of
Suryamandala, he is highly honorable, he is well-disposed and amiable, he has
full of vigor and great splendor, he represents Indhra, and Vasudeva, he has
great radiance and fierce, he symbolizes Vedanga, he illuminates the whole
Universe with his brilliant rays, he eradicates sufferings of poverty, he
illuminates the seven worlds with his brilliant rays, he has upright stature, he is Vivaswan who spread
his brilliant rays all over, he is Hrishikesha who is Lord of senses, he is
energetic, he is unblemished, he is skillful charioteer, he is worshiped by
Rishis and Sages, he represents Rajasic nature, he is worshiped on regular
basis, he is safest heaven to worshiper, he is ocean of mercy, he has great
prowess, he is primeval deity, he is unconquerable, he is eternal, he rides on
the celestial vehicle which has one wheel, he is the source of accomplishment
in task, he takes pleasure in the solitude, he symbolizes virtues, he lures the
heart of worshiper, he is beloved of lotus flowers, he is supreme Lord, he has
embodied as Universe and its living beings, he represents Esha, he is the
source of wealth, richness, opulence, good fortune, and auspiciousness, he is
Lord of planets and stars, his eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower petals,
he is serene, he is the source of fame and honor, he represents mass, he
eradicates severe illnesses like leprosy, he fulfills all the desires of the
worshiper, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he removes severe sins like
Bhramahathya and slaughter of cow, accidental and unexpected deaths, and all
kinds of perils of the worshiper, he is perceivable through sense, he
symbolizes piousness, he eradicates sorrows, miseries, grief and illnesses, he
symbolizes time/ Yuga, and all the auspiciousness, he is the source of wisdom,
knowledge, wealth, richness and opulence, he is adorned in various precious
ornaments all over the body, he symbolizes truth and supreme bliss, he
illuminates the whole Universe with his radiance, he witnesses all the
happenings in the Universe, he is safest heaven to distressed and desolate
people, he undertakes essential functions of creation, preservation and
destruction of Universe, he is store house of virtues, he is absolute Bhramam,
he is the source of good fortune, wealth, welfare and all the auspiciousness, he
is Sharva who is the source of omnipresent and extremely valorous, he is too
compassionate to worshiper, he is the source of nourishment, health, enthusiasm,
and happiness to the whole Universe, he is void of birth, death, aging and illnesses,
he destroys wicked demons, he is the source of loveliness and charm, he
illuminates in and out of the Universe, he is beyond human intellect, he
resides as soul in living beings, he eradicates extreme fears and anxieties,
and bad luck of the worshiper, he is
Lord of day light, he is beloved of Nara Narayana, he is Ravi who represents
Hara as well, he is youthful always, he is most desirable, he has neither beginning
nor end, he is the source of welfare and happiness, he is wise and learned, he
is Narayana, he is beyond human intellect, he has supreme radiance, he is the source of
wealth and prosperity, he fulfills all the desires of the worshiper, he is the
source of abundance of wealth, grains and permanent fame, he is supreme bliss,
he has numerous sacred names such as Savitha, Surya, Khaga, Poosha,
Ghabasthiman, Bhanu, Dhivakara, Mareechiman, Thvashta, Marththanda,Amshuman,
Hiranyagarbha, etc.. he represents Manthra and Thanthra as well, he has the luster of molten yellow metal, he represents
golden virility, he rides on the grand chariot pulled by seven green horses, he
emits infinite powerful rays, he eradicates all kinds of illnesses, he is
mounted on the grand chariot with one wheel pulled by seven horses, he
eradicates darkness of ignorance, he is
Shambhu who eradicates toxic poisons in the Universe, he is eulogized by intellectuals
and profound in Vedic chants, he is mighty Lord, he produces rain clouds and he
is the source of down pour, he produces scorching heat as well, he represents Agni,
he is son of Devi Adhithi and Sage Kashyapa, he removes chillness, he is Lord
of sky, he eradicates dullness, lethargy, and laziness of the worshiper, he is
profound in Rig, Yajur and SamaVeda , he is companion of Apam/ocean, he circumambulates
the Mount Vindhyachala with great reverence, he is zealous, he resides in the
supreme abode of Suryamandala, he represent death, he has golden complexion, he
generates extreme heat, he is wise and learned, he has supreme radiance, he
symbolizes victory and auspiciousness, he is fierce, he is extremely valorous,
he represents trinities/Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, he eradicates
darkness of ignorance, his radiant rays penetrates through the ice, he destroys
wicked enemies, selfish and deceitful people, he is Lord of Astrology, he has
the complexion of molten yellow metal, he undertakes essential functions of
Universe, he witnesses all the happenings in the Universe, he symbolizes
auspiciousness, he eradicates all the sins of the worshiper, he destroys all
the enemies of the worshiper, he eradicates extreme fears and anxieties, he is
the source of longevity, he is worshiped by Devas and Asuras as well, he is
Bhaskara who illuminates the Universe with his radiance, he is Lord of Universe
and its living beings, he represents all the deities, he has supreme radiance,
he represents Esha, Bhrama, Vishnu, Shiva, Skandha, Prajapathi, Mahendhra,
Kubera, Yama, Soma, Vayu, Vahni, Praja, Vasava, Prana, Pithru, Prabhakara, Savithre,
Saranga, Thrilochana, and Vibhavasu, he
causes the changes in season, he rides
on the grand chariot which has single wheel, he eradicates miseries, grief and
sorrows of the worshiper, he represents all the deities, he is the protector of
Deva, Asura, Gana and Universe, he is formidable, he is fierce, he is the
protector as well as the destroyer of living beings, I shall reverentially prostrate
before the lotus feet of supreme Lord Adhithya, Hail to supreme Lord Adhithya!
