sacred waters elevates the soul from the extreme fears of worldly existence,
she is streaming down from the matted hair locks of Lord Shiva, she merrily flood
through the sacred land of Kashi, she is the source of liberation from repeated
births and all kinds of auspiciousness, her sacred waters resembles to life giving
nectar, she is unconquerable, she fulfills all the desires of the worshiper,
she showers abundance of boons as well, she is infallible, she is the daughter
of Adhriraja/daughter of Mount Himavan, she has endless glorious myths, she
showers abundance of happiness and auspiciousness, she eradicates all the
impediments, she symbolizes the essence of Shruthi, greatest philosophies and
myths, she is worshiped by Lord Indhra, she descends to Earth from the lotus
feet of Upendhra, she removes evil spell, fears and curses on the worshiper,
she is the cause for creation, preservation and destruction, she is worshiped
by illustrious Rishis and Sages, she is fond of
truthfulness, piousness,

sense of renunciation, and abandonment, she is life giving water course, she is
eulogized by Madhanandhaka who crushed the pride of Kamadeva, she resides in
the supreme abode of bliss, she is supreme wisdom and knowledge, she is
eternal, she is Adhishakthi, she has the luster of frost, her spotless water
course has Sathvik nature, she is absolute truth, she is the source of
happiness of frost, her most desirable feature are the delight of Kshapanatha
who is Lord of night, she is the source of peace, happiness, good fortune,
wealth, opulence, richness, sensual pleasures and all kinds of auspiciousness,
ultimately supreme wisdom/sense of self-realization and liberation from
repeated births, I shall repeatedly prostrate before the lotus feet of supreme
Goddess Adhishakthi who has embodied as sacred river Ganga, Hail to supreme
