Sri Sanathsujatheeyam – Sri Mahabharath -  Sri Shankarabhashyam – Bhashyam - 20– Ignorance /Pramadha causes rebirth

Chapter 14 - Bhashyam – 20 – Ignorance /Pramadha causes rebirth

The Karma brings immortality/Amrithyu/Amarathva ‘Amrithyu: Karmana Kechith’, but the learned and Shruthi opposes this word, saying that Karma cannot bring Amrithyu/immortality, the Karmakandi and the Jeeva yearns for the fruitful results of the Karma and the performance of the Karma becomes a way to fulfill one’s own desires. Jeeva those who chase after the fruitful results of the Karma cannot get freed from the ‘Mrithyu’. It would hurl the Jeeva into the vicious cycles of rebirths. The performance Karma yearning for fruitful results cannot achieve the Sath/Paramathma Parambhrmam resides as a soul in the Jeeva. The understanding of the Sath/indestructible Paramatma and Yoga,/Sadharththayoga, would remove the ignorance in the Jeeva. The non-understanding of Sadharthayoga the Jeeva fails to realize the Chith Anandha Swaroopa of Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul, has no birth or death, pure, free from bondages and impurities, all-pervasive and free from afflictions. The ignorant Jeeva get soaked in the Bhogayoga, Vishayarasa, get attached to the wealth, possession, fame, richness, people, money, etc. that has fleeting nature, in this way, the Jeeva constantly undergoes miseries and sorrows of worldly existence, like a blind walking through the uneven ground which is breakable any moment and pushes him into the nether land. The ignorant Jeeva/Vivehaheena Dhehi, wanders like a blind, taking pleasure in the interest in worldly matters and chasing pleasure in the material things, in this process they get attached to people, money, wealth, fame, richness, that has impermanent nature. The functioning of Indhriyas/sense is mysterious, it easily gets wedged to Mithya/illusion. The Jeeva who is soaked in the illusion always remembers about the material pleasures, and admire their possessions, in this way, they completely keep away from the realization of ‘self’ and forget to worship the Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Paramambhramam resides as soul in the Jeeva.
