Sri Bharatha Sthuthi -
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Bharath,
victory to you! You are a fortunate honey bee that takes immense pleasure at
the lotus-like feet of Boomijaramana Seethapathi Sri Ramachandra, you are a fervent devotee of Bhuvanabhooshana Suryavamsha Vibhooshana Nripashiromani Lord
Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Bharath, victory to you! You have discarded the stately
pleasures of the magnificent Kingdom of Ayodhya, which is rare to achieve for
Indra, Kubera, and Lokapala. Your austerities, vow, disciplines, purity are
sharp like the sword. Oh! Bharath, Victory
to you! You are prominent among the Sathpurusha/Mahathma, your pure intellect
like Sthree/Tharuni is immersed in the devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri
Ramachandra. Oh! Bharath, victory to you! You are unblemished, free from body
and I consciousness, interest in worldly matters and bondage, you are the beloved brother
of Sri Ramachandra, conducted expedition to Mount Chithrakoota by foot, you are
highly devoted to Lord Ramachandra, you have reverentially brought the Padhuka
of Rama, and ruled the Kingdom of Ayodhya like Manthri/minister to the Padhukaroopi King Sri Ramachandra, thus you have protected
the people of Ayodhya from the pain of separation from Janakiramana, and you have
observed strict austerities and performed the Ramasevaroopi Paramadharma. Oh!
Bharath, you are extremely valorous, you have shot an arrow at Hanuman who was
in the search for Sanjeevani when Lakshmana lost consciousness on the
battlefield. Hanuman fell down with a loud thud at the shot of your arrow and
highly praised your Parakrama/valor, skill, and powerful arms. Oh! Bharath,
victory to you! You have crushed the pride of Gandharva and made them sincere
devotees who always sing in praise of Lord Rama. Oh! Bharath, your consort Devi
Mandavi’s intellect resembles the Chakora that takes immense pleasure in the
dark cloud complexioned attractive limb of you. Oh! Bharath, you are the
provider of shelter to the distressed, I am Tulsidas already surrendered at
your lotus feet, kindly protect me.”

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh!
Shathrughna, Victory to you! you are
extremely ferocious like the lion to the enemies resemble untamed elephants.
Oh! Shathrughna Victory to you! Your valor resembles Sun that spread intense
radiance and removes the darkness, you are like the blazing sun to the enemies, you
are most promising to Bhramana, Devatha, Go, Prithvi, Sajjana, Siddha, Sages, and Rishis, you have attractive stature, brilliant appearance, wielded in bow
and arrow, protective shield, sword, and you are the destroyer of enemies. Oh!
Shathrughna, Victory to you! I shall repeatedly prostrate before you, you are
the delight of Devi Sumithra, and sincerely follow illustrious Bharatha, you
are the destroyer of numerous dreadful demons, you resemble Agasthya who
swallowed the Samudra, you have crushed the pride of fierce Lavanasura, Oh!
Shathrughna, Victory to you! You are the destroyer of enemies, you are younger
brother to Lakshman, you sincerely follow the commands of Bharatha, Rama and
Devi Sita, and adores the dust from their lotus feet on your forehead. Oh!
Shathrughna, you are the beloved consort of Devi Shruthikeerthi, you are easily
attainable to the righteous and noble souls, and extremely difficult for the
wicked. Oh! Shathrughna, victory to you! You are the provider of Bhukthi, and
Mukthi to the worshiper, Oh! Prabho, you are the destroyer of grief and
sufferings of worldly existence, I am Tulasidas, and I have already taken
shelter at your lotus feel, alas! still, I am not relieved from the despair, Oh!
Prabho, you are the destroyer of distress, sufferings of poverty, and grief,
kindly protects me.”
