Chapter – 133 -Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Ramanama to get rid of grief of Samsara
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, if
you have no love or devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Raghuram who is the ocean
of mercy, then the rarest birth that has achieved as a human is worthless. The
Parmalabha/fruitfulness of the birth as a human is the achievement of Ananya
Bhakti at the lotus feet of Supreme Lord. The fortunate and intelligent Jeeva
abandons the Vishayavisha/toxic poison like the interest in worldly matters,
attachment to material matters, money, wealth, richness, fame, possession,
wife, children, relatives, and companion as a Trina/grass, and undertake austerities of Sathyam, Dhaya, Dhanam, Shaucham,
Shamam, Dhamam, Arjjavam, Dhanam, Astheyam, Ahimsa Bhramacharya, Swadhyaya,
Athmavichara etc. and contemplate upon that supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra and
achieves the fruitfulness of life. The unfortunate Jeeva drenched in the
worldly matters, swollen with Ahamkara and Mamakara, ego, lust, desire, anger,
jealous and pride engages in various immoral deeds and accumulates sins,
thereby hurl into constant miseries and grief, and eventually pushes to the vicious cycle of Janana Marana. Oh! Jeeva, without the pure love and devotion
at Lord Sri Ramachandra, the rest of the Sadhana, Yoga, Japa, Thapa, Vairagya,
Yajja, Gnana, etc. are worthless, cannot bring the serenity of mind and
bliss/Moksha and any Sadhana without devotion are waste of time, energy, and
wealth, like the waves of Mrigathrishna. The auspiciousness of the Jeeva vested
in the achievement of knowledge from Veda, and Purana, and the Santhbhrindh, Mahatmas,
and living under the guidance of a preceptor, taking up the austerities, and
Shamadhamadhis, and practice pure love and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord
Sri Ramachandra, and it is the treasure house of auspiciousness. Oh! Jeeva, if
you have understood clearly about the fruitfulness of life, leave your
Ahamkara, Mamakara, interest in worldly matters and attachments to material
matters and people, and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra
that would bring all the auspiciousness in your life. Oh! Jeeva, listen to the
teachings of Tulsidas and recite the sacred name of Rama, with love and
devotion.”
