Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Garbhavasadhi Dhukham

Chapter - 79 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  -  Garbhavasadhi Dhukham

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, you have repented for the mistakes in the past lives while you were in the womb of your mother, felt miserable for not utilizing the previous births for any pious deeds/Krama to get freed from the Samsara Chakra and Garbhavasa. Oh! Jeeva, you have taken a vow not to get trapped in the Samsara again, promised to contemplate and meditate upon the Lord Chakradhari who is the Lord of time, capable to cut off the vicious cycles of repeated births. You have pacified yourself with the promise that not to get attached to Samsara, and continued to live in the womb facing the hellish tortures. Oh! Jeeva, you have suffered a lot of agonies and pain in the darkness of the mother’s womb, finally, you have pushed out of the womb by the force of air/Prachandavayu upside down on the Earth. Immediately after the birth, you have forgotten all those Bhakthi, Dhyana, Gnana, and the promises you have made while in the womb of your mother.  Oh! Jeeva, no one has seen the troubles you have gone through in the darkness, humid, tiny space in your mother's womb, lying upside down in the Mal/secrete, Moothra/urine, and Krimi/worms.  The people surrounded by you were extremely happy to see the newborn, and were singing and dancing around you in joy.”

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj continues “Oh! Jeeva, you have suffered a lot of troubles while in your mother’s womb, which was countless. Alas! even after the birth, the helpless infant goes through hunger, illness, and various troubles/bitten by mosquitos, ants, etc., no one could understand why you are weeping for? even your mother does not know what’s bothering you, she tries various tricks to calm the infant, unfortunately, it would multiply your troubles.  Sometimes, the infant cries of indigestion, but the mother misunderstands it as hunger and feeds you, again and again, that would add to your sufferings. During childhood/Kishoravastha you have made a lot of sins knowingly or unknowingly, that are indescribable. Oh! Ignorant, Oh! Heartless, you have committed a lot of mistakes in the childhood days as well.”
