Chapter - 80 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  -  The description of Youthful and advanced years of age of human

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, your youthful days were sinful as childhood days, at this age you have been chasing for the bodily pleasure, and wandering lustfully for the touch of the woman, you were extremely arrogant, ignorant and Mahajjani/Mahamoorkh these days. You have crossed all the boundaries of Dharma for the bodily pleasure, you have forgotten the days of grief in the womb of your mother, lying upside down in the excretions and worms, and engaged in all grave sins. You have forgotten all your accumulated sins, and immersed in immoral deeds, Oh! Jeeva, your heart is not burst open thinking about the sins committed? You have kept yourself prepared to throw into deep distress with your Papakarma, and paved your way to hurl into the vicious cycles of rebirth. Oh! Ignorant, this body is a pile of bone and flesh, it has to undergo changes every second, such as aging, illnesses, and death, once the vital air leaves the body, the lifeless corpse has to fuse on the Earth, either in the coffin or in the form of ashes or the meal to the worms and vultures. You have made a huge number of enemies for the happiness of this worthless body, swollen with Ahamkara and Mamakara, and impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya. Oh! Wicked, you have committed several sins chasing for the possession of Parayadhan/other’s wealth and Sthree/woman, in this way, you have handcuffed yourself in the Samsara.”

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj continues “Oh! Jeeva, while getting fastened in the worldly matters of possession, fame, wealth, money, and attachment to family, children, wife, relatives, and companions, you have reached the later years of age, that you did not even think or wish in your dreams. It is difficult to describe the hardships of old age, you have started witnessing the clear pieces of evidence of old age on your body, you have become fragile, none of your limbs are co-operating with you, due to old age you have familiarized yourself with various illnesses that have taken away all your mental peace, you have isolated, become a burden to your family, children, wife, companions, and relatives. Your sense organs are not performing their tasks properly, it is annoying you and others as well.  All of a sudden, you have become ‘unwanted’ in the family, you have lost honor, respect, love from the people surrounded by you, the pet you have brought up in the home become respectful than you, in the sense, you have lost attention from everyone, and no one to respect any longer. The pet you have brought up in the home receives a better piece of bread served in time, you have lost that too. Oh! Ignorant, you have become an ‘irritating piece’ for everyone, no one likes to have communication with you, and your mind and intellect have stopped working completely. You have become so weak that you could not even consume the meal thrown before you. After all these, you have not achieved Vairagya, you have not lost expectation for love from your children, grandchildren, and family. Alas! you haven’t abandoned the Mriga Thrishna after series of setbacks in the old age.”
