Chapter – 138 -Sri Vinaya Patrika – Samsara Chakra/It is not the first birth
and won’t be the last either – The Vishaya and Bhoga hurls the Jeeva into
Janana Marana
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ignorant,
where are you hurrying to achieve material well-being and bodily pleasure? You
are abandoning the nectar-like lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, and running
after the Vishayaroopi Mrighathrishna/reflection of water on the desert. Oh!
Jeeva, this is not your first birth and won’ be last either, you have been to
several Yonis of birds, animals, reptiles, Devatha, Manushya, Rakshas, etc. in
all those births you have made your own families, father, mother, brother,
house, wife, children, relatives and companions, etc. you have been attached to
the people and material matters in all those births too. Oh! Ignorant, your
love and attachment/Vishaya and Bhoga in the material matters and people hurled
you in different Yonis, and you have experienced hellish tortures. You haven’t learned
the Mukthi Marga in any of those births, and you have not learned the way to get
rid of the Samsara Chakra/Janana Marana. Oh! Ignorant, this is not your first
birth, you have been into several Yonis and have experienced grief and sorrows
of worldly existence, after all these, your chase for the material matters,
wealth, possession, fame, richness, money, attachment to wife, children,
relatives, and companions, etc. haven’t stopped. Oh! wicked, do you expect the
Bhogaroopa ghee poured will reduce the Kamanaroopi Agni/fire in you? Oh!
Ignorant, the Bhogavasana increases the Kamana, ultimately push the Jeeva into
deep distress, eventually the absence of material matters, comforts, and people
will put you in extreme grief. Oh! Jeeva, understand that the people and the
wealth, possession, fame, money, richness you have taken pride in will
disappear in due course of time, hence abandon the interest in Vishayavisha, it
cannot provide happiness not even in your dreams. The Veda describes the
Vishayaroopi wealth as the source of grief, the interest in material matters
and people, have fleeting nature, therefore the attachment to impermanent
Prakrithi would cause intense grief and agony, the Virakthamthma who is free
from the interest in worldly matters and bondage remain in supreme bliss.
Oh! Jeeva, your days on the Earth are numbered, your life span is getting reduced
in every second, you have wasted the precious birth as a human. Oh! Tulsidas,
the Kalaroopi serpent is swallowing the Samsara, do not know when will be
your turn.”
