Chapter
- 82 -Sri Vinaya Pathrika - Paramarththa
Thaththva -The selfless service to Mahathmas and saintly people - Kripa of
twice-born, Hari, Guru, and Santh for liberation from repeated births
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, the
selfless service to Mahathma and Santhvrindh would remove the Dhvandhabhava /dualities,
such as grief and joy, happiness and sorrow, respect and disrespect, gain and
loss etc., eventually it would remove the fears and anxiousness of worldly
existence. The Paramarththa Thaththva, the knowledge of ‘self’, the all-pervasive
Bramham resides as a soul in the Jeeva is indestructible Purusha, Jeevathma is
Paramathma/oneness-in-all, the Prakrithi is destructible, the material matters
and people have fleeting nature, this knowledge would remove the interest in
worldly matters such as possession, fame, richness, money, wealth, etc.
attachment to wife, children, relatives, and companions, etc. Oh! Jeeva, practice
the worship at the lotus feet of Lord Raghunatha, contemplate and meditate upon
him to achieve the Sadhusangama. Whoever achieved the knowledge of ‘self’, and perceives
the Paramathma Parambhramam resides as soul, would become Vilakshana/unique,
immerses in a supreme state of bliss, freely move without any fear or
anxiousness all over the Earth, the unique nature of Bhramajjani/Bhramavithth
is Santhosha/happiness, Samatha/equality, Shanthi/serenity, perfect control
over sense/freed from Ahamkara and Mamakara, impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha,
Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya. These Mahathmas are freed from Dhehathma Bodha,
elevated to the superior status of ‘Aham Bhramasmi’, they are pure immerses in the
Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam, are freed from the Samsararoga/fears
and anxieties of worldly existence. These Mahathmas are freed from Harsha/happiness
or Shoka/sorrow, ultimately these Mahathmas would become the purifier of the
three worlds.”
Sri Tulsidas Maharaj continues “ Oh! Jeeva,
whoever practices intense devotion, meditation, contemplation, Shamadhamadhi,
observes silence and celibacy, practice truthfulness, kindness, non-violence,
control of sense, purity, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, etc. and worship at the lotus
feet of Lord Sri Raghunatha would achieve nobility, and whoever sincerely follow the command of
preceptor, selflessly serve the Mahathmas and Sadhus, perform their duties and
responsibilities prescribed in the Veda and have the clear-cut knowledge of
Dharma and Adharma would achieve Purusharththa/Dharma, Arththa, Kama, and
Moksha. The Sadhaka who abandons the interest in worldly matters, and sincerely
undertake austerities with the grace of supreme Lord, would achieve
Sacchidhanandha Paramathma/Adhvaitha Bhramam, and immerse in supreme bliss. The
ignorant drenched in the material matters of Prakrithi constantly hurl into the deep well of grief and sorrows, cannot even dream of Paramanandha/supreme bliss.
The permanent truth is Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva,
and the realization of Athmaswaroopa is Paramanandha, that could protect the
Jeeva from the vicious cycles of rebirth, and it is impossible to achieve without
the Kripa of twice-born, Hari, Guru, and Santh. I am Tulsidas have already
taken shelter at the lotus feet of Lakshmipathi, and singing in praise of him
to get liberated from the vicious cycles of rebirth.”
