Chapter – 270- Sur -Vinaya – Pathrika – The illusion/unconquerable
Maya of Mayapathi Lord Sri Hari is a venomous serpent that gets hold of the
Jeeva from the moment of birth– Sri Ramanama is the Mrithasanjeevani which
makes the dead alive

Maharaj speaks “Oh! Mind, why don’t you change your craving for worldly matters
of fleeting nature, why don’t you stop chasing after possession, wealth,
richness, money, fame, children, wife, companion, and relatives, etc. why don’t you
take up austerities, vows, celibacy, control over lust, desire, ego, jealousy,
pride, anger, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, and contemplate and meditate upon the lotus
feet of Lord Sri Hari? You did not get out the toxic poison of illusion like
the serpent that caught hold of you from birth. Oh! Mind, the sacred name of Lord
Krishna is the Mrithasanjeevini/which makes the dead alive, it removes the
grief and sufferings of worldly existence/three kinds of grief, and provides
welfare afterlife too. Your preceptor is an excellent physician who cures incurable
illnesses, he repeatedly advises you with the sacred ‘Sri Ramanama’ and ‘Sri
Krishnama’ in your ears to get rid of the toxic poison of worldly matters like the
serpent that has already taken complete control of your mind. Oh! Jeeva, the Mayaroopi
serpent has swallowed countless unfortunate Jeeva who wrongly perceived that
the ‘body’ is permanent, and started decorating it, leaving the eternal
Paramathma residing as a soul in it. The unfortunate Jeeva drenched in lust,
desire, ego, anger, jealousy, pride, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, chases after the
material and physical pleasures in the three important phases of life, ultimately hurl into
the constant grief and cycles of births, swallowed by the Mayaroopi serpent.
The fortunate ones take shelter in preceptors, Santh, Mahathma, and Sathpurusha
achieve the Shyamasundhararoopi Mrithasanjeevani/pure love and devotion at the lotus
feet of Lord Shyamsundhar, Oh! Mortals, singing in praise of Lord Shyamsundhar would
remove the toxic poison like the interest in worldly matters and illusion. The darkness of ignorance can be removed only
with the supreme knowledge/absolute truth/Paramarththa Thaththva, all the material
matters are perishable, and the soul is imperishable.”
