Lord Krishna concludes “ I shall always
meditate upon supreme Lord Surya who is the commander of the
Savithrumandala/Suryamandala, along with Narayana and Sarasijasana/Lord Bhrama,
he is decked in marvelous keyoora/armlets, Makarakundala/gem decorated
earrings, magnificent crown, various ornaments and garlands, he has charming
physical features resembles to precious yellow metal, he is wielded in Shankha/conch
and Chakra/wheel, he resides in the supreme Ravimandala/Suryamandala, he is
Surya who is eternal, he is Achyutha, I shall meditate upon supreme Lord who
illuminates the whole Universe with his brilliance, he is Lord of Lords, he is
decked in various precious ornaments that spreads intense luster, Lord Bhrama,
dieites, Rishis and illustrious sages eulogized Surashreshta/Lord Surya who
represents Narayana, his body is the essence of Veda and Vedanga, he is divine
personified to illuminate the Universe with his radiance, he is destroyer of
enemies, he has great effulgence, he carries out the function of creation and
destruction of Universe at the end of Kalpa, he is decked in various precious
ornaments all over his body and he travels on his grand chariot with one wheel,
Oh! Dhivakara who carries lotus flowers in hands, kindly shower happiness. These are the Dhvadhashadhithya/ twelve
sacred names initially Adithya, secondly Dhivakara, thirdly Bhaskara, fourthly
Prabhakara, fifthly sahasramshu, sixthly Thrilochana, seventhly
Harithashvashcha, eighthly Vibhavasu, ninthly Dhinakara, tenthly Dhvadhashathman, eleventhly
Thrayimoorthi and twelfthly
Soorya. Whoever reads or listens
to these glorious Dhvadhashadhithya/twelve sacred names of Lord Adithya during
the early hours of dawn would be relieved from nightmares, and all kinds of
miseries and sorrows, worshiper would get relieved from severe skin diseases
and leprosy, and suffering of poverty, it provides abundance of meritorious
rewards such as dip in all sacred ponds, and it fulfils all the desires of the
worshiper, therefore Oh! human, recite or listen to these glorious verses of Lord Adithya during the early hours of
dawn on daily basis, it provides all the
happiness, long life, good health, ultimately liberation from repeated
births, I shall prostrate before supreme
Lord who has the effulgence of Agni, divine personified as Oorja/energy, vigor,
eminent and Thejas/radiance, I shall prostrate before Jyothishampathi who has
supreme effulgence, he is the essence of
science of Astronomy and Astrology as
well, I shall repeatedly prostrate
before Jagathchakshur/eye of the Universe with his consort, he witnesses all the happenings in the
Universe/eye of the Universe, he symbolizes Veda, he is Ravi who seated on the
lotus flower, he carries lotus flower on his hands, he has the effulgence of
Lord Bhrama, he travels on the grand chariot pulled by seven horses, he have
two powerful arms, whoever prostrate before supreme Lord Adithya on daily basis
will not have the sufferings of poverty in thousands of their births. Supreme Lord Bhaskara who emerges from
mountain peaks in the early hours of dawn, he carries lotus flowers in hands,
he is worshiped by whole of the Universe, he is extremely charming, he is
venerated by all the deities, he eradicates the king of elephant like ignorance
with his supreme radiance, he witnesses all the happenings in the Universe/eye
of the Universe, he is decked in various gem decorated ornaments all over his
body.”
