Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, luster from your lotus feet  are indescribable while Goddess Indrani consort of Lord Indra who has long beautiful curly hair locks stretched all over on your lotus feet while she  prostrate before you.  Oh! Goddess Kamakshi, consort of Lord Shiva who burnt Lord Manmatha into ashes, when I am going to attain your nectar like lotus feet which are capable to destroy the vicious poison/Halahala which can cause the destruction of the Universe,  whoever venerate your lotus feet would remain sinless.  I shall meditate upon the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, it has the resemblance to the sun light at the dusk, and foot nail has the vividness of Lord Chandra, it is soft and supple in nature.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh!  Girisuthey, sacred Vedas eulogizes the glories of your lotus feet, Yogis and most intellectuals who have no worldly bondages meditate upon your lotus feet.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,  Rishis and Sages relentlessly meditate upon gem like your lotus feet, that is soaked in the pond of nectar like Shashthras and they are unblemished.  It is an ornament to the Universe; it’s the representation of eternal bliss.  Oh! Janani, Oh! Goddess Kamakshi,  your lotus feet has the brilliance of billions of Lord Aditya and numerous precious gem, that are capable to remove the darkness of ignorance in my heart,  therefore  I earnestly pray for the  presence of your lotus feet in my heart as well.  I meditate upon the magnificent lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your foot nails has the radiance of the heart of poets which is sweet like nectar, your lotus feet produces the divine sounds of anklets like river Ganga, it has the brilliance of sun rays at the time of dawn.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your soft and supple lotus feet has constant touch on the hard crowns of the deities,  it has the capabilities to destroy the worldly bondage and desires, those lotus feet provides coolness to the worshippers,  due to  living in the icy mountains of Himavan or dwelling in the hearts of Yogis ,  it remains invisible as well.  Oh! Mother of the Universe, Oh! Shive/auspicious, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your lotus feet are unblemished, soft and supple that has constant touch of lotus flowers and numerous birds, in this way they constantly serve your lotus feet and it gives out the appearance of their severe penance.  Your lotus feet are capable to remove the darkness of ignorance, it is envisioned by the virtuous after continuous austerities, it is unblemished, your lotus feet are easily attainable for the swans, and those divine feet are always soaked in the crystal water, teasing the lotus flowers that perish by the nightfall.

Oh! Janani, Oh! Kamakshi, who is decked in  red colored gem studded ear ornament which extends the ocean of radiance, your glorious lotus feet gives out the appearance of extreme penance in the middle of powerful water current of holy river Ganga, you are the ocean of mercy and the savior of the Universe.   Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, consort of Lord Thripurari who burnt the city of Thripura, your magnificent anklets   produces the sound which comforts whoever surrenders at your lotus feet; your lotus feet are the destroyer of Thamoguna and sins of your ardent devotees.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, consort of Lord Shiva, Oh! Mother of the Universe, whenever arguments arise during amorous sport Lord Parameshwara prostrates before you, he is decked in crescent moon on matted hair lock touches on your lotus feet, and in the same manner I earnestly pray that your glorious feet should provide me liberation from the cycles of birth and death.  Oh! Shive, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Lord Indra and deities yearn and constantly competes each other to get the touch of your lotus feet on their head, those glorious feet are capable to remove all the sins, I shall earnestly pray to purify me too.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your glorious feet has the resemblance to fully blossomed hibiscus flower, all those female deities joyfully rushes towards you to prostrate before you,  they have long stretched hair locks which has the resemblance to dark clouds, the shine of your foot nails gives out the appearance of lightning.  Oh! Mother of the Universe, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your glorious lotus feet that has possessed Thrigunas/brilliance which is venerated by the pious who have no Raga or Dhvesha, it is surprising that your lotus feet are capable to provide salvation to your worshipper.  Oh! Janani , Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your glorious feet has the brilliance of Lord Aditya during day break and blossoming lotus flower, just like Lord Aditya is the source for blossoming lotus flower, your magnificent feet provides eternal wisdom to the worshipper, therefore whoever worships your lotus feet would be blessed and it remove darkness of ignorance in the worshipper.  Oh! Shive,  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, your glorious feet has the brilliance of Lord Aditya and it is the remover of darkness of ignorance and sins, it’s the delight to the mind of suffering people, and it is the cause for the stream of poetic skills.  Oh! Shive , Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I prostrate before your lotus feet, you are the essence of Shruthi and auspiciousness, you are serene, resides in the virtuous Brahmins.

In this verse Mookakavi describes the glories of the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, which has the luster of fresh alluring flowers in the garden of Lord Indra, radiance of Lord Aditya in the early hours of dawn and the sheen of bunch of Hibiscus flowers.   I shall meditate upon the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is the preceptor to swan to teach their way of walking, she protects the suffering people like the wish fulfilling tree/Kalpavruksha, she is the destroyer of darkness like ignorance in her devotees.  Her glorious lotus feet has the resemblance to the auspicious Sindhooram on the forehead of the  female deities, it has the resemblance to the sunlight during the early day break which blossom the flowers like poets meditate upon her lotus feet to attain eternal wisdom, it has the resemblance to the crimson colored garment which cover the bosom of  Veda like young maiden.  I meditate upon the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi,  Lord Parameshwara who adorned the crescent moon on his matted hair lock prostrate before her when arguments arises between amorous sport with his consort, that crescent moon gains the vividness from her lustrous lotus feet.  You are wise associate of Lord Parameshwara who won over the cities of Thripura, he prostrate with smiling face before your lotus feet adorned in marvelous anklets which creates magnificent sound.  Your lotus feet reveals splendid luster through the beautiful hair locks of the female deities while they prostrate before you, it has the brilliance of Lord Aditya during the day break.   The virtuous meditate and envision your lotus feet that has Trigunas and they are easily attainable to the pious, she has beautiful gait  of a swan and it is surprising that your lotus feet is attainable for the less intellectuals too.

My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, she is ever youthful, golden color complexioned, prominent in amorous sport and passionate to wed Lord Parameshwara, she is decked in flower garlands.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are attired in majestic white garments, seated on the lotus flower, carries sacred scriptures and garlands of Rudraksha on the hand and divine musical instrument Veena on the other, you have attractive eyes, you are Vairinchi/Goddess Sri Saraswathi consort of Lord Bhrama.  Oh! Matha, you have glorious form as Goddess Thripura, with saffron color complexioned, you are decked in bleeding skulls as garlands that discolored your body, you carry sacred scriptures, beads, on both the hands along with Abhyahastham and Varada Hastham postures.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I shall meditate upon your magnificent form as Goddess Sri Prathyangira, who adorned in various precious jewels and ornaments, holds Pasam and Angusam on hands, you are a great warrior, and your luster is indescribable.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are residing in my heart, you are most desirable and attractive with your beautiful face, you have stunning features and large raised bosom, you reside in the sacred city of Kanchi, only virtuous could envision your presence.  Oh! Maheshi, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I meditate upon your glorious form as Kundalini and your graceful movement through the Shadchakras such as Mooladharam, Manipoorakam, Swadhishtanam, Anahatham, Vishuddhi and Agna Chakram.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, pride of Lord Parameshwara who is the slayer of Lord Yama, you dwell in and out of all the living creatures, and you are the provider of eternal bliss to your ardent devotees.  Oh! Amba, you have sweetest and melodious voice that originates from the nest like neck which gives out the impression of a parrot that kindled the desires in Manmatha, your lips have resemblance to bimba fruits.   Victory to Goddess Jagadamba ! My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who has large raised bosom which has the resemblance to the two large peaks on the forehead of an elephant, she is slightly bend forward due to the heaviness of her bosom, she has thin waist, she has crimson color complexion, she is the nectar to the eyes of Lord Parameshwara.  I have witnessed the glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi on the river banks of Kampa in Adi Kanchi, she is decked in marvelous golden waist belt which is decorated with numerous precious gems, and she is most compassionate to her passionate devotees.   I have witnessed the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi,  with the blessings of my preceptor, she is familiar with the serenity of the river banks of Kampa, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan, she is the most divine ornament on the lap of Lord Parameshwara.  Oh! Devi, Oh! Matha, your glorious youthful form has won over the heart of Lord Parameshwara who burnt Lord Manmatha into ashes.  She has incarnated as hunter woman who attired in garment made of leaves, decked in garlands of various beads and serpents, smeared in black colored paste, holding spear as weapon.  Oh! Janani, your splendor is indescribable, she carries parrot on one hand, she has profound interest in music therefore she is always surrounded by celestial singers, resides close to Bhairava Mandalam, she is decked in magnificent ear stud which has the resemblance to conch.  My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who incarnated as Goddess Sri Durga, she is the provider of liberation from the cycles of birth and death to her worshipper, she has lion as celestial vehicle, she is a great warrior, she is the delight of Lord Parameshwara, she is the annihilator of enemies.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi,  you are Goddess Sri Chamunda who is extremely vigilant, she has vicious form in the battle field, she is the destroyer of demons, she holds the garland made of organs on her mouth,  she is decked in the garland made of skulls.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are Goddess Sri Annapoorni, you are the daughter of Mount Himavan, you are the remover of poverty of your worshipper with the abundance supply of grains.  My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Varahi who has the fierce face of wild boar, holding fierce weapons, you are the destroyer of sorrows and grief of the suffering people.

My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who delightfully dances in the sacred city of Kanchi, I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the savior of living beings, she is the personification of compassion, she is the ocean of mercy, she is personified as   Veda decked in various garlands made of precious gems, she is the daughter of Mount Himavan.  I prostrate before the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the remover grief and sorrows of worshipper, she is the consort of Lord Thripurari who destroyed the city of Tripura, she is the symbol of illusion, she has crimson color complexion, she is decked in crescent moon on her beautiful hair lock, and she dwells in the city of Kanchi.   I found immense bliss on the divine form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the provider of liberation from the cycles of birth and birth, she is beautifully adorned the crescent moon on her attractive hair lock which has the resemblance to Chakora bird, she is fond of residing on the river banks of Kampa.  I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who  is the representation of Veda and Sound, she is the manifestation of Bindu, Lord Chandra, Manthra, Thanthra, Prakrithi and she is the essence in all the living beings in the Universe.  I shall surrender to the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides on the river bank of Kampa, she has incomparable beauty; she has stunning physical features, marvelous hair, eyes, large raised bosom, etc.. I am witnessing the glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi with her blessings, which is unparalleled and indescribable in nature, she is the delight of Lord Parameshwara.   I shall eulogize the eternal glories of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who personifies wisdom as Goddess Sri Saraswathi, the female force of Lord Brahma, she is Kathyayani/daughter of Sage Kathyayana, Kali/dark complexioned/Kalatheetha, Kamakoti, Kala, Bharathi/Saraswathi, Bhairavi/Consort of Bhairava, Bhadhra, Shakini/Yogini, Shambavi/consort of Shambu, Shiva etc…  I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi, she is Malini consort of Lord Maheshwara, she ecstatically resides in the sacred city of Kanchi, she is the annihilator of enemies, she carries trident/Shoolini and skull/Kapalini, she has crimson color complexioned, and she is the savior of the deities.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Shoolapane you are the personification of auspiciousness.

My humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the delight of Lord Parameshwara, annihilator of Lord Manmatha, I am in a state of ecstasy after witnessing the glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, she is the source of brilliance to the Universe, she is the provider of rebirth to Lord Manmatha.  She is the daughter of mount Himavan, dwells on the river banks of Kampa, she is the personification of auspiciousness, she is unblemished, worshipped by Yathis, eulogized by Vedas, and she is decked in crescent moon on her attractive hair locks.  I earnestly pray to attain sincere devotion at the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who delightfully resides on the river banks of Kampa, she is enthusiastic and proficient in amorous sport, and she is the magnificent family deity.  She is the personification of eternal wisdom, she is the virtuous consort of Lord Parameshwara, she has adorned Lord Agni on her third eye, she is indescribable beauty, she has marvelous symbol of her youthful consort on her body as Ardhanareeshwara, and she joyfully resides under the mango tree.   I meditate upon the glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the pride of Lord Manmatha, holds arrow of fresh alluring flowers; she sanctified the city of Kanchi with her eternal presence.  She is the manifestation of Shadthvatheetha Roopini, she has the complexion of saffron color, and she is compassionate and ever youthful.  I have witnessed the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides in Kanchi, she is incomparable and she is the wealth of this sacred city, she is the personification of eternal bliss, she is crimson color complexioned.  I meditate upon the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who carries Pasam, Angusam, bow and arrow, she dwells in Kamakotipeedam, she is adorned the crescent moon on her beautiful hair lock, she has attractive crimson color complexion.  She has mesmerizing lips which has the resemblance to Bimba fruits, she has attractive smile, she is the remover of ignorance in her worshipper, she is the mother of the Universe, and she resides in my heart as well.  Therefore I have no need to desire for anything.  I am fortunate to attain Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the middle part of  Srichakra and blissfully resides on the magnificent  bed  of Lord Sadashiva, decorated with fresh alluring flowers.
