|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
Gajendra spoke "Oh!
Namo Bhagavathe, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Narayana, who is the
essence of Pranava, he is the source of body and mind and he dwells in the form
of soul in every living being, I shall surrender to supreme Lord who is the
cause of the Universe, he is personified as Universe and exists in its very own
form which is different from his divine form.
Oh! Athmamoola, Could I get protection from that supreme Lord who has appeared as Universe
at the beginning of creation, disappears the same as an illusion at the time of
deluge, omniscient, invisible as well
as invisible? After certain period of time, all those five
elements/Panchathvam, Universe and its protector and all those causes turns in
to intense darkness, only the supreme Lord illuminates from that darkness. This divine form is not understandable for
deities, Rishis, and sages, impossible to witness the actual or perceive, nevertheless
to mention about the ordinary people, therefore supreme Lord whose actions are indiscernible
may protect me. The supreme Lord whose
lotus feet which is the dwelling place of all the auspiciousness, is desired by
the Sages and Rishis who had practiced complete renunciation, they are truly
compassionate and undergoes severe austerities in the woods, therefore I shall
take refuge in supreme Lord who is the soul in all the living beings. The supreme Lord is untouched by birth or
Karma, he does not have specific name or form, or virtues or sins, although he
undertakes various incarnations at different circumstances for the welfare and
protection of the Universe. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord who shines as soul in all the living beings, he is
omniscient, he is Paramathma, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord who is
beyond description and not perceivable to the mind. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord who is
the provider of Kaivalya and Moksha, he is attainable to Sathvik/Sages and
Rishis, through the meticulous practice of renunciation. I shall prostrate before Supreme Lord who has
various forms like clam, vicious, unwise, he is the treasure house of virtues
and representation of eternal wisdom, and he remains devoid of any significance
and appears similar as well. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord, who is the cause for the Prakrithi and Purusha
as well, he is omniscient. I shall
prostrate before supreme Lord who witnesses the functions of the
Sarvaindhriyas/sense organs, he is the provider and witnesses its function like
a shadow. I shall prostrate before the
supreme Lord who is the cause of the Universe/Akhilakarana, he is not affected
by any causes/Nishkarana, he is the cause for mysterious
actions/Adbhuthakarana, he is not affected by any causes, and he is the symbol
of mysticism and asceticism as well. I
shall prostrate before the supreme Lord who is self illuminating before the
ascetics who constantly practice renunciation,
I shall prostrate before the supreme Lord who is the symbol of
compassion liberates the living beings from the world of samsara the moment
they surrender to him, he dwells in the mind of all the living beings, he is
absolute Bhramam which is beyond description.
I shall prostrate before the supreme Lord, who is attainable to virtuous
people who are free from worldly bondage such as wealth, house, children and
family, free from all the senses, realizes the presence of supreme Lord in
their hearts. Whoever meditates upon
supreme Lord would get Dharma/righteousness,
Kama/desire, Artha/Wealth, and Moksha/liberty from repeated births, and all
their desires get fulfilled, Oh! Lord kindly blesses me with salvation. The passionate devotees, who have the
awareness of oneness, will not yearn for gold and valuables, or not even
desirous of salvation, they eulogize your splendor, and they drench in the ocean
of eternal bliss and remains in the state of ecstasy. My humble salutation to supreme Lord who the absolute Bhramam, he is flawless/Paripoornam,
he has no beginning or end/Ananthamadhyam, he is beyond senses/Atheendhriyam,
he is miniscule form/Sookshmam, he is invisible to unwise, he is attainable to
the virtuous people who are immersed in yogic practices. My humble salutation to supreme Lord who is
the cause for the Bhramandam consists of deities, worlds, living and non living
things, which is categorized by various names and rewarding. The heat generates from the fire and the rays
originates from the sun ultimately emerges from the place where it is originated,
in the same manner body, mind, intellect, senses emerges in you, the place
where it is originated. The absolute
Bhramam is neither God nor demon or human, or animal, or woman, or eunuch; it
is not bound by Karma, Guna, movable or immovable. I do not wish to continue to live the life of
an elephant which is strangled inside out due to my ignorance, I shall wish to
eradicate the veil of ignorance and attain Moksha. I shall prostrate before the supreme Lord who
is the personification of Bhramam, he is the representation of Universe, he is
Universe and remains different from the Universe, and he is the soul of the
Universe and knower of Universe as well.
I shall venerate the supreme Lord who is the Lord of Yoga/Yogesha, who
is attainable for the true Yogis who is free from Karmas and they visualize the
presence of Lord in their hearts through the yogic practices. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord who is prompt
with immense valor, he is the store house of virtues in the Universe, he protects
the people who are surrendered to him, and he is not attainable for those who
have no control over senses. I shall
meditate upon the supreme Lord who is the soul of Veda, he is unparalleled, and
it becomes impossible to realize the presence of supreme soul due to the
presence of illusion in the living beings."
