Devi spoke “Oh! Devadeva/Lord or Lords, Oh! Mahaeva/supreme Lord, Oh!
Maheshwara/Lord of the Universe, Oh! Thrikalajjya/who is aware of past, present
and future,/knower of all, Oh!
Maheshwara, Oh! Karunakara/compassionate, who shower grace on his passionate devotees.
I would like to listen to the sacred thousands and eight names of Goddess
Lakshmi.”

Maheshwara replied “ Oh! Devi, Oh! Mahabhage, Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is the
provider of abundance of fortures, all the auspiciousness and devout act, and
capable to destroy all the sins, destroys the all kinds of scarcities, highly
confidential and it provides the listeners material comforts, Bhakthi/devotion
as well as Mukthi. It is not easily feasible
to witness the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Lakshmi, all the deities yearn
to witness her majestic form, listen to
her sacred thousand and eight names of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi will provide
immense satisfaction, she is Shakthi as well as Bhuvaneshwari/Goddess of the
Universe worshiped and eulogized with the Beejakshara ‘Klim’, Anganyasa: and Karanyasa:.”

My
humble salutation to Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who holds lotus flower in her
hands, she is ever pleasing, she is the symbol of auspiciousness and provider
of all the fortunes to her worshiper, she is decked in various precious
ornaments, and she is the safe heaven to her devotees. She fulfills the desires of her ardent
devotees, she is venerated by Lord Hari, Lord Hara, Lord Bhrama and deities,
she is the symbol of Shakthi who carries lotus flower and conch, she has
beautiful eyes resembles to lotus flower, she carries lotus flower in her
hands, she is decked in fresh alluring white flower garlands that extends
magnificent fragrance, Oh! Bhagavathi, Oh! Harivallabe/consort of Lord Hari,
who showers her grace to the three worlds, she is Prakrithi and she has various
incarnations, she is the personification of eternal wisdom, she works for the
welfare of the living beings, she is Shradda/dedication, she has various
incarnations, she is Surabi/divine cow, I shall prostrate before Paramathika,
she dwells in the lotus flower, she is Padma, she is Swaha and Swadha as well,
she is pleasing nature, she Hiranmayi/has golden complexion, she is
Lakshmi, she is the provider of all the auspiciousness, she is Adithi and
Dhithi as well, she spread supreme brilliance around her, she is Vasudha/Earth,
she carries the Earth, I shall prostrate before Goddess Kamala, she is Kantha who lures the heart of
her consort, she is the symbol of endurance, she is originated from the milky
ocean. She showers her blessing on her
passionate devotees, she is Harivallaba, she is the symbol of wisdom, she is
Ashoka/without grief, she is nectar and self illuminates, she is the destroyer
of grief and sorrows in the world of samsara.
I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is the cause for
the existence of righteousness, she is compassionate, she is the Mother of all
the living beings in the Universe, she is fond of lotus flowers, she carries
lotus flowers in her hands, she has the eyes resemblance to lotus flower, she
has the luster of lotus flowers, she is originated from the lotus flower, she
has the face resemblance to lotus flower, she is most desirable to Lord
Padmanabha, she is Rama, she is decked in flower garlands made of lotus
flowers, she has the supreme fragrances of lotus flowers, she is pleasing always, she is the
provider of boons to her devotees, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi who is sister of Lord Chandra, she has the face resemblance to moon
and has the luster of moon. She has four
hands, she has the resemblance to moon, she is Indhira and spread the luster of
moon, she is the cause for the happiness, good health in her devotees, she is
Shivaa, and she is Goddess Sri Parvathi and Goddess Sathi as well. She is
unblemished, she is the cause of the Universe, she is the destroyer of
scarcities, she is pleasing, serene, decked in white flower garlands, and she
is the symbol of wealth. She is Harini, she is Hemamalini, she carries the
whole Universe in her stomach, and she is illustrious and has supreme
brilliance, she is the provider of wealth, grains, and siddhi/mystic powers,
she is the provider of auspiciousness to her passionate devotees, she is
originated from the milky ocean, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi who is the personification of auspiciousness and resides on the
chest of Lord Vishnu, she is the consort of Lord Vishnu, she has sparkling eyes
reveals immense happiness, she is the consort of Lord Narayana, who destroys
all kinds of scarcities and all the perils of her passionate devotees, she is
personified as Navadurga, Mahakali, and female force of Lord Bhrama, Lord
Vishnu, and Lord Shiva as well. I shall prostrate before Goddess Bhuvaneshwari
who is aware of all. My humble
salutation to Goddess Sri Lakshmi, who is most desirable to Lord Mukunda, she
is related to three worlds, she is the symbol of lotus flower, showers her auspicious
grace to Lord Bhrama, Lord Indhra and Lord Gangadhara and to all over the world,
she is originated from the milky ocean/daughter of Samudraraja, she dwells in
the sacred land of Srirangam, surrounded by all the female deities and spreads brilliance.
Oh!
Matha, I shall prostrate before Goddess Kamala, who has the eyes resembles to
lotus flowers, she dwells on the lotus flower like chest of Lord Vishnu, she is
the mother of the Universe, she is originated from the milky ocean, she is
Kamala and she is most beautiful originated from the lotus, she is Gouri, Oh!
Lakshmi, I shall prostrate before you always, I shall surrender at your lotus
feet.

Whoever
recites these glorious verse praising Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi for six months
and three times a day would attain complete control over senses, all the
scarcities will be destroyed and get all their desires fulfilled, thousands of
sacred names of Devi is highly auspicious, would bring abundance wealth that
would remove the scarcities in millions of births, whoever reads twice on Fridays would attain
all the eight types of wealth and live the life of Kubera on Earth. The hundreds of sacred names of Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi is capable to remove all the scarcities, brings abundance of wealth
and remove scarcities in millions of births, it fulfills all the desires of
the worshiper and liberty from the repeated births. Whoever reads or listens to this glorious
verse in the early morning hours on regular basis and meditate upon the
magnificent form of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi decked in the various precious ornaments
would get rid of all the sorrows and griefs.
