Skandha continues “ I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Ganga who is capable to suspend dreadful poison with her teeth, for her offspring who are surrendered to her lotus feet, she is Devadruma in disguise which fulfils all the desires and destroys ill fortune of  her worshiper,  she is Devamatha, she is descended from the celestial abode of deities, she is the darling of Devadeva/Lord of Lords, she has descended down to Earth to preserve the Universe with her divine powers, she is the provider of long life, she is eternal, she abandon people who are evil minded, her sacred waters has the resemblance to milk, she guides the virtuous through the path of righteousness, she is safest haven for the distressed people and provider of liberation from the repeated births, she is eternal, she destroys the root cause of all the evils, she flow far across the lands, she is impassable, she is Devavallabha, she destroys wicked people, she eradicates the evil thoughts, she is compassionate and shower empathy on her worshiper, she is unparalleled, she is benevolent and bountiful, she symbolizes wealth, she destroys poverty, she purifies Dhaithyas and Dhanavas, she destroys wickedness, she is generous, she is kind, she appears in all sacred rivers,  she is worshiped by the deities in order to obtain meritorious rewards, she undergoes severe penance and she symbolize supreme wisdom, her sacred waters are dazzling nature, she disperse the fruit of Karma, she punishes the wicked people, she is impartial, she is most venerable, she is  one of the nine treasures of Lord Kubera, she destroys the miseries and grief of destitute, she is the mother Earth, she destroys sufferings of her worshiper, she dwells in cave, she cause inundation, she is most desirable to the virtuous people, she is divided into various water course, she has powerful water current, she flows through the impenetrable woods effortlessly.”
