Sri Shuka continues “ Supreme Goddess Ganga whose  sacred waters has soothing effect, that  elevates the souls to the abode of heaven, she provides liberty to the souls the moment they see her mirror like sacred waters, she provides mental as well as physical well being, her sacred waters are capable to eradicate mental as well as physical afflictions, she undergoes strict austerities, she is supreme ascetic,  she removes weariness, she eradicates all kinds of sorrows and miseries, she removes distress in her worshiper, she removes all kinds of displeasure, she provides all kinds of happiness, she gives immense pleasure of veneration, she gives deep satisfaction of the act of expiation, dwelling on the sacred banks of river Ganga is equivalent to Mahathapa/severe austerities, her sacred waters has human as well inhuman form, she is delicate, she has assumed the form of sacred water, she burns all kinds of perils with blazing fire, she provides coolness and she is decked in cool rays of moon, she is deserved to be eulogized, worshiped, meditate and envision and she is worthy to be remembered always,  she symbolizes Chidanandharoopa and  Gnanaroopa ,  she merrily explores through the sacred lands, she is primordial worshiped with mystical procedures/Agama, and she symbolizes all Agamas, she is observed with various Agamas, she is cherished by ardent devotees, she is Mahadevi, she is worshiped by all the deities, she dwells as Prana in all living beings, she is self-restraint who follows Gruhasthashrama, she is auspicious, she has assumed the form of preceptor, she submissive to Shankara, she is eulogized by Shankara, she is decked in various auspicious ornaments, she adorns Shankara, she represents auspicious disciplines and austerities, she is Shankararoopini, she is Shivasrotha/auspicious water course, she is benevolent, she is Gauri, she is embodied as sky, she is not easily attainable and easily approachable too, she is highly confidential, she is mysterious took the form of young maiden of cowherd, she is the darling of Gopa, she is Gomathi, she is attractive young maiden of cowherd, she is the delight of Yasodhanandhan, she has personified as Mahamaya/sister of Krishna who caused the destruction of Kamsa, she freed her worshiper from the clutches of Bhramarakshass.”
