I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Durga
who is personified as Rakthachandi/who is passionate woman soaked in blood,
Rudrachandi/fierce form of Durga, Chandakshi/passionate eyes, and Chandanayika,
she is attired in skin of tiger, she is Shailaja/mountain born/daughter of
Mount Himavan, she is supreme Goddess represents speech and greatest enthusiasm
in battlefield, she dwells in the leaves of
sacred bale, she is youthful and lures the heart of Lord Shiva, she is
beloved of Sthanu, she has pleasing disposition, she is the storehouse of
virtues and provider of the same, she dwells in Linga, she eradicates
ignorance/Avidhya, Mamatha/arrogance/selfishness/pride and ego, lack of wisdom
and inauspiciousness, she is the slayer of Mahishasura, she eradicates
wickedness, laziness/exhaustion and all kinds of miseries and perils, she is dark
complexioned deity most venerated and most beloved deity sanctified by virtuous
and illustrious sages and Rishis, she is Gomathi and Thrayambakeshvari who is worshiped
by distressed, frightened and weaker sections of the people, she is safest gateway to happiness and peace, she is immeasurable and imperishable, she is
extremely valorus, she is Mayavathi/great illusionist, she is too
compassionate, she dwells in the gateway of supreme abode and guides us
through righteous path, she has supreme brilliance, she entices the whole
Universe with her mesmerizing features, she symbolizes passionate sport and
sacred rivers, she is divine personified as
Chithra, Mahakali, Kalahanthri/destroyer of Kala, and she is creative
force behind all the actions, she is merciful, she is graceful among the
deities, she symbolizes kindness, she is splendid, she undertakes severe
austerities, she is Madhvi, she takes immense pleasure in the consumption of
nectar, she is the destroyer of demon Munda, she is highly enthusiastic and
sportive, she symbolizes immense delight, she is chaste and propitious, she is
Srimatha/who dwells in the divine Srichakra, she is Srimaharajji, she is
extremely pleasant, she illuminates the whole Universe with her radiance, she
symbolizes opulence, she is
Bhramaroopa/female force of Bhrama and Shivankari/female force of Shiva who
showers auspiciousness, she is the provider of courage and serenity, she
disburse the fruit of Karma of the living beings, she is the provider of wealth
and happiness as well, she fulfiles the desires of the worshiper, she is the
provider of wealth and all kinds of richness, she is the provider of Moksha and
supreme knowledge as well, she is embodied as Earth, she is the source of
happiness of the Earth and its living beings, she is pure and she is impossible
to perceive even for Veda and sacred texts.
