Indhra speaks “ I shall prostrate before
Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who resides in lotus flower, she is Narayani, she is
beloved of Krishna, she is the essence
of wealth, she is decorated in flower garlands,
I shall prostrate before Goddess Vaishnavi, who have beautiful eyes
resembles to lotus flower petals, she symbolizes lotus flower, she is seated on
lotus flower, she is Padmini who is decked in lotus flower garlands, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi who symbolizes all kinds of
richness, she bestows all kinds of auspiciousness to worshiper, she bestows
happiness, all kinds of siddhis as well as Moksha to worshiper, I shall
prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who provides devotion and faith in Lord
Hari, she is the provider of happiness, she dwells on the chest of Lord
Krishna, she is dearest consort of Lord Krishna, I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi who is lustrous as rain clouds, she has the luster of gem studded
lotus flower, she has supreme radiance, she symbolizes wealth, she is Mahadevi,
I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who guides us through the
righteous path, she governs the living beings, she symbolizes supreme wisdom
and knowledge, she is the provider of refined knowledge. I shall prostrate
before Goddess Mahalakshmi who dwells in the supreme abode of Sri Vaikundham,
she is Mahalakshmi, she is originated from Ksheerasagara, she dwells as
Svargalakshmi in abode of Lord Indhra in the heven, she resides as Rajalakshmi in the fort of Kings, she resides
as Grihalakshmi and Grihadevatha in the houses, she represents Surabhi/divine
cow/ Kamadhenu, she is universal mother, she symbolizes Yajja and successful
completion of Yajja as well, she is Adhithi who is the mother of deities, she resides
as Kamala in the abode of Kamalalaya, she represents Svaha, Svadha, oblation to
the fire sacrifices, sacrificial priest etc.. she immerses in the meditation of
Lord Narayana, she is devoid of wrath and violence, she bestows abundance of
boons, she is auspicious, she imparts the knowledge of
Bhramam/Paramarthathathvam, she is sincerely devoted in the service to her
husband Lord Hari, in her absence the whole Universe seems to be funeral ground
and lifeless, in her absence the whole Universe seems to be lifeless bodies, she
is beyond human intellect, she is the source of collective spirit and in her
absence the living beings remains meaningless without any collective spirit,
she represents Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha, she is like divine mother who feed
her child with her milk during infant periods, she dwells as soul in living
beings and embodies in numerous forms, it is difficult to live even for the
deities without their mother and for the living being too, Oh! Ambike who has pleasing personality and
she is most pleasant, Oh! Sanathani,
kindly provide us state of abandonment from the worldly affairs, Oh! Haripriye, without your presence in our lives,
without the richness in life becomes the state of mendicant without any
relatives, Oh! Sureshvari, kindly bless us with kingdom, affluence, courage,
fame, wealth, and prosperity, Oh! Haripriye, kindly bless us to fulfil all our
desires, and bestow intellect, and pleasure, wisdom, righteousness, and all
kinds of auspiciousness, Oh! Devi, kindly
blesses us with endless glories, honor and authority, success and valor in
battle fields and all kinds of auspiciousness.”
Lord Mahendhra and Suraganas praised the
glories of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi in the above verses, eventually they prostrated
before her with tears in their eyes, she was repeatedly greeted by Lord Bhrama,
Lord Shankara, Shesha, Dharmarajan, Keshava, and the deities, she has provided
a marvelous flower garland as a boon to deities, Goddess Sri Lakshmi along with
Keshava was pleased at Suras, deities and Narada were pleased and returned to
their abodes, Devi glanced at Hari who
was reclining on the milky ocean, the
above sacred verses are highly propitious, whoever recites or listens to it
thrice a day during the hours of dawn, noon and dusk would remain equivalent to
Lord Kubera, King will become King of Kings, these hymns are highly auspicious equivalent to
Kalpatharu/wish fulfilling creeper, whoever recites or listens to it for five
lakh times would be blessed with all siddis, whoever reads or listens to it for
a month would remain blissful and Rajendhra with no doubt.
