I shall meditate upon Goddess Thulasi who
is closest companion of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, she eradicates all kinds of
sins of worshiper and provides abundance of pieties, I shall prostrate before
Goddess Thulasi who is worshiped by Maharishi Naradha, she is dearest darling
of Lord Narayana. I shall prostrate
before Goddess Thulasi who is the source
of happiness and auspiciousness, she eradicates miseries and illnesses of
worshiper, I shall prostrate before Goddess Thulasi whose root is the dwelling
place of all the sacred rivers, I shall prostrate before Goddess Thulasi whose
stem is the abode of all the deities, I
shall prostrate before Goddess Thulasi whose top portion is the dwelling place
of Veda and Upanishads. I shall
prostrate before Goddess Thulasi who symbolizes nectar, and auspiciousness, she
eradicates miseries and sorrows of worshiper, she destroys fears and illnesses
of the worshiper, I shall prostrate before Goddess Thulasi who is originated at
the wish of deities, she is worshiped by Rishis and Sages, she eradicates all
the sins of worshiper, she is beloved of Hara and Hari, she is the provider of
fortune, virtuous offspring, wealth and abundance of grains and affluence, she
is the provider of good health, she eradicates grief and miseries, Oh! Madhavapriye/darling
of Madhava, kindly blesses us. Whoever
recites the glories of Thulasi and venerates the lotus feet of Goddess Thulasi
on daily basis would remain unblemished.
I shall prostrate before Goddess Thulasi who eradicates worldly bondages
of the worshiper; she cleanses the afflictions of worshiper, she is worshiped
by the people who afflicted, veneration of Goddess Thulasi brings nearness to
Lord Krishna, she is the provider of liberation from repeated births too.
