I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Shiva who represents the sacred syllable ‘Na’, he is Digambara who is attired in directions, he is pure and eternal, he is decked in King of
serpents as ornaments, he has Surya, Chandra, and Agni as three eyes, he is beautifully smeared in sacred
ashes all over the body, he is Maheshvara who is mighty Lord. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva
who represents the sacred syllable ‘Ma’, he is adorned in sacred waters of
Mandakini on matted hair locks, he is smeared in rich fragrant sandalwood
paste, he is the Lord of Nandeeshvara and he is Lord of Pramatha Ganas, he is Maheshvara, who
is mighty Lord, decorated in Mandhara and various fresh alluring flowers of
rich fragrance. I shall prostrate before
supreme Lord Shiva who represents the sacred syllable ‘Shi’, he is Neelakanda
who has a bluish throat, he holds a magnificent flag that has the symbol of celestial
bull, he destroyed the grand Yaga of Dhakshaprajapthi, he is Shiva who
symbolizes the sun which releases radiant rays and causes bloom the lotus-like face of Goddess Gauri, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shiva
who represents the sacred syllable ‘Va’, he has Chandhra/moon, Arkka/Surya,
Vaishvanara/Agni, as three eyes, he is Shekhara who is decked in a crescent moon
on matted hair locks, he is worshiped by illustrious Rishi Vashishta, Kumbodhbhava/Sage
Agasthya, Sage Gauthama, and the deities. I shall prostrate before supreme
Lord Shiva who symbolizes the sacred syllable ‘Ya’, he is divine personified, attired in directions as clothes, he is eternal, he is wielded in powerful
weapon Pinaka, he has attractive matted hair locks, and he symbolizes Yaksha. I shall meditate upon supreme Lord Shiva who
has three eyes, he spreads auspiciousness, health, and wealth that enhance the well being of the living
beings, I shall reverentially pray to supreme Lord Mahadeva to liberate the Jeeva from the sufferings of worldly existence and repeated births as well.
