|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||
Oh! Bhagavan, there was a Bhramin named
Kuchela who was your fellow disciple in the hermitage of Sage Sandheepani, he
was totally devoted you and he was completely free from desires for wealth, he
was a virtuous Grihashrami , his wife was equally chaste and righteous like
him, but she has not attained controlled mind like him, hence
she inquired her husband why should not he approach Ramapathi who is the
consort of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and a great associate of her husband for
some financial assistance, eventually he set off to your palace out of intense
eagerness to meet you after several years, he had least interest in acquiring
wealth though he was going through extreme poverty, he carried a handful of fluffy
rice as offering to you and he packed it
safely in his worn out clothes. Finally
he reached in your glorious city, he was in a state of ecstasy after witnessing
the splendor of your house, it has the resemblance to supreme abode Sri
Vaikundham to him, and he was received with great honor and love. You have received him inside your palace with
great respect and admiration, Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi fanned him, you have held
his hand with great affection and recollected some of the cherish-able moments
in the hermitage, like their expedition to wood to collect some wood at the
instruction of the wife of preceptor, later both of you were caught in a heavy
downpour in the wood. Kuchela was
extremely shy to offer the flattened rice he had brought with him, therefore
you have snatched from him and filled in your mouth, when you were about to
repeat the same, Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi intervened and held your hand with a
purpose, Kuchela who is greatest among devotees of you stayed in your city that
night with great joy, next day he left your city without asking for any wealth,
you always have a strange way to bless your devotees. Kuchela immersed in various thoughts while
returning from your place, he recollected most joyous moments with you that
made him smile, ‘If I have asked for
wealth, Achyutha must have definitely offered the same. What did I tell to my wife?’, eventually he
reached in a magnificent home decorated with precious gems that spreads intense
luster, he was utterly puzzled and thought that he had lost his way to home,
immediately he saw his wife decorated in various precious ornaments and finest
jewels, waiting for him, she was surrounded by several ladies who are all
attired in finest garments. Kuchela
instantly realized the mysterious grace and compassion of you. He lived in the greatest mansion decked in gem
and grew most passionate devotee of you, he immersed in the nectar like
devotion and finally as he was desired, he attained liberation at the lotus
feet you. Oh! Maruthpuradheesha, kindly eradicate our illnesses.
