The
following are the highly propitious hymns praising the splendor of Lord Kethu,
recitation of these hymns would please Lord Kethu who is magnanimous, I shall
prostrate before Lord Kethu who has large Shirass/head, he is bodieless, he is
considered as one of the illusionery planet, he was born to the female demon
Simhika, he is formidable, he has colorful appearance, his eyes are blood red
in color, his forehead has the luster of smoke, his eyes as brutal, he
represents Mahaurga/great serpent, his eyes are soaked in blood red color and
he has colorful appearance, he is wrathful who belongs to the clan of Mahasura,
he has brutal neck and furious, he is described as ilusiionary planet, he is
considered as the last one among the planets, he has great head, he is enemy of
Lord Surya, he holds flower in one hand and another in Varadhahastha posture,
he holds mace, he is attired in colorful garment, he is decked in colorful
flag, he is mounted on a chariot of numerous colors, he has wrathful appearance
and tuft, he consume Kulutthabhakshanam, he is adorned in oranaments decorated
with precious gem cat's eye/ Vaidoorya, he is causes calamities/ Uthpatha, he is close associate of Shukra and
Shani, he holds mace, he is Lord of Naka/alligator, he resides close to the sacrificial
ground, he was born in illustrious clan of Jaimini, he is beloved of
Chithraguptha, he is seated facing Dhakshin/south, he has attained boons from
Mukunda, he was born in the clan of Mahasura, he has the complexion of thick
colors/Ghanavarnna, he has long stature, he represents Mrithyuputhra, he has
manifested as Uthpatharoopa who creates calamities, he is invisible, he
resembles to Kalagni, he is the cause for Nripeeda/afflictions to human, he is
one of the illusionery planet, he causes extreme afflictions on the wicked
people, he was born with diverse nature, he represents Anala/fire, he eradicates all
kinds of illnesses in the worshiper, Kethu’s presence on the ninth house and movement from right to left brings Papakarma/sinful deeds, Kethu’s presence
on the fifth house bring sorrow/grief/depression/Shoka, he represents dislike, antipathy,discontent,
aversion, disinclination, heroic deeds,
being in fourth state of soul and provides abundance of happiness and welfare, Kethu’s presence on the third house brings enemies, he is Papagraha/evil
planet who is extremely alarming as well, he is Prananatha/Lord of life, Kethu’s
presence on the fifth house brings afflictions, Kethu’s presence on the second
house brings clear as well as harsh way of speech which causes extremely
unpleasantness, he is Kamaroopi/represents action, he has sharp teeth like
lion, Kethu;s presence on the fourth house bring Mathrunasham/causes
destruction to Mother, Kethu’s presence on the ninth house bring
Pithrunasham/causes destruction to father, ultimately bring numerous enemies,
he causes Sarpadosha, he is bodieless, he reprents Karmarashi, he brings close
to the fame, Kethu’s presence on the seventh house bring conflicts, Kethu;s
presence on the eighth house bring illnesses, along with wealth and welfare, he
is the commander of planets, Kethu;s presence on the birth afflicts illnesses,
he is evil eyed planet, he is worshiped by all, he is imperishable, he disperses
fruit of Karma, he has the luster of smoke,
he has consumed the nectar of immortality, he is unconquerable, he is
promising to worshiper, he is Lord Kethu who is mounted on grand throne, he
causes afflictions on the radiance of sun, he is immortal, he causes
afflictions on the human, he has showed impudence to Vishnu in order to obtain
nectar of immortality, he is Asureshvara, he is the protector of people who are
surrendered at his lotus feet, he symbolize diversity, despair, and sorrow, he
disperses various boons and fulfills the desires of the worshiper, above are the
glorious hundred and eight names praising the splendor of Lord Kethu, whoever
reads or listen to it on regular basis with intense faith and devotion would please Lord Kethu and the
worshiper would be blessed with all that desired in their lives.
