Sri Narada speaks “ Oh! Deva, kindly describe thousands of sacred
names of Lord Hari, which eradicates severe sins of the worshiper, provides happiness and wealth, and intense
devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Hari, Oh! Suroththama, therefore kindly
narrate those sacred names of Lord Hari,
so that would be wonderful to praise him.”
Lord Shiva speaks “Oh! Dhvija, supreme
Lord Hari who has the luster of lotus flower, has endless virtues, and it is
impossible to describe them all, I have already narrated some of the glorious
legends and sacred names of Srivishnu to Goddess Parvathi, later myself and
Goddess Parvathi who has beautiful appearance, noticed that supreme Lord who is
the preceptor of the Universe/Jagadhguru, not possible to perceive, immersed in
deep meditation. I shall narrate the
glories of Jagadheeshvara who is the essence of virtues, and his thousands of
sacred names, Oh! Mahabhagavatha, mortal who memorize them would attain all
kinds of Siddhis.”
Dhyanam –
I
shall meditate upon supreme Lord Krishna, who is Puranapurusha, he is always
surrounded by cows, cowherds and young maidens of cowherds, illustrious Rishis and Sages, his lotus feet
are worshiped by Lord Bhrama, deities, and Ganas, he is served by Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi, he has stunningly gorgeous appearance, he has the complexion of
freshly formed dark clouds, he is attired in majestic yellow silk garments, he
is adorned in marvelous crown which spread the radiance of sun, he is adorned in
Angadha/armlets, and fresh alluring flower garlands, he is adorned in ornaments
of precious yellow metal all over the body.
