I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha
who is the commander of Ganas, he is perceivable for the Vairagin who is free
from impurities like Ragadhvesha/ego, lust, desire, anger etc.. he is
impossible to perceive for the people who are soaked in impurities, he is
worshiped by Suras and Asuras as well,
he eradicates aging, accidental and unexpected deaths, he is supreme
preceptor who imparts knowledge of self , he represents Hari who showers wealth
and opulence, whoever venerates Ganadhipa who is extremely compassionate and
promising would be blessed with success in endeavors. I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha
who is the son of Goddess Parvathi/Gireendhraja/daughter of Mount Himavan, his
face has the luster of lotus flower, he is blissful, he has the radiance of
Bhaskara/surya, his face has the resemblance to elephant, he is eulogized and
surrounded by the illustrious Rishis and Sages , he has mouse as celestial
vehicle, he has pot sized belly, he has great effulgence, he excels the luster of lotus flower, he is
lovely child and greatest companion of the worshiper, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha
who is the commander of Ganas, he is worshiped by illustrious Sage Shuka, he
symbolizes the sacred syllables of Gakara, he showers abundance of boons and
fulfills all the desires of the worshiper who venerates him with utmost faith
and devotion at his lotus feet, he has great radiance, he has powerful four
arms, he is worshiped with fully bloomed lotus flowers, he is absolute truth
who imparts the knowledge of ‘Self’. I
shall always prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha who eradicates obstacles, he
showers stately status to the worshiper,
he is commander in the abode of
deities, he eradicates fever like infectious diseases, he is the source of
brilliance to deities, he holds lotus flower and Srini as weapon, he is void of
impurities, changes, hostility, perturbation, grimace, etc.. he is the source
of delight, he dispel fatigue, laziness, and lethargy, he brings harmony, he is
worshiped by moon, he is forgiving
nature, he is the commander of Ganas, he is worshiped by Goddess RamA, and
Madhava, he is son of Yamanthaka/Lord Shiva who conquered Lord Yama, he is the
provider of accomplishmet in tasks and Shadgunas known as opulence, wealth,
courage, power, valor etc.. to the worshiper who are surrendered at his lotus
feet. The above are the glorious verse
of Ganadhipasya Panchakam, which removes
Nrina, fulfills all the desires of the worshiper who are surrendered at his
lotus feet, whoever reads or listens to it would attain supreme knowledge, long
life, abundance of wealth and virtuous offspring.
