Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! The ignorant mind always recites the sacred names of Lord Sri Ramachandra, it is the essence of Veda and all kinds of auspiciousness, hence take immense pleasure in the recitation of sacred names of Rama with intense faith and devotion. The King of Koshala, have attractive limbs that have the complexion of freshly formed rain clouds, and the luster of a blue lotus flower, he is the bee that takes immense pleasure in the lotus-like heart of Lord Shiva who burned the Kamadeva into ashes. Oh! Bhagavan, Oh! Janaki Ramana, Oh! Sukhadhama, you are supreme Lord, Oh! Prabhu, you are the Lord of three worlds, Oh! Dhayalu, you have destroyed the wicked demons on the battlefield and restored peace in the world. You resemble forest fire in the woods of Dhanava, you have powerful arms, long hands stretched up to the knee, you are wielded in powerful bow and arrow. Your beautiful face, hands, and legs have the luster of red lotus flowers, you are the abode of virtues, and you are the storehouse of the loveliness of numerous Kamadheva. You resemble the snowflakes that destroy Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathscharyaroopi cluster of the lotus flowers of impurities of the mind. You resemble the lion in the forest that attacks the untamed elephant-like Lobha, you have destroyed the entire clan of the wicked demons and removed the trepidations in the devotees, and restored peace in the world. Oh! Keshava, Oh! Kleshaharana, you are the destroyer of afflictions of worldly existence, interest in worldly matters and bondage, and body and I consciousness. Lord Bhrama and Lord Shiva worship your lotus feet which is the originating place of the sacred Ganga on the Earth. Oh! Bhagavan you have supreme bliss personified, to destroy the sufferings of Bhavasagara, you destroy the Moharoopi untamed elephant in the Jeeva, you guide the Jeeva safely cross the unfathomable and dreadful ocean of worldly existence. Oh! Sri Ramachandra, you are the hurricane that disperses the Shoka/grief and misapprehension like the dark clouds in the Jeeva, you are the powerful Vajrayudha that sieve off the Paparoopi/accumulated sins/ mountains of the Jeeva. Oh! Bhagavan, your sacred names are like the divine cow Kamadhenu to the Santh and Sadhus, provides the serenity of mind and fulfill all the desires of the worshiper, it is capable to destroy all the evil effects of the Kali era. Oh! Sri Ram, you symbolize the garden of Dharmaroopi Kalpavruksha, which enlightens the distressed Jeeva/Pathitha soaked in worldly matters and bondage, undergoes endless sufferings and grief, and you are the abode of Siddhi. Oh! Bhagavan, the recitation of your sacred names provides Bhakti, Vairagya, Vijjana, Shama, Dhama, Dhana, Sathyam, Shaucham, etc. it removes all the impurities in the Jeeva, and destroys the attachment to the material matters of richness, wealth, possession, fame, money, attachment to wife, children, relative and companion that has fleeting nature. Whoever taken shelter in the Rama Namaroopi Amrith, and constantly meditate and contemplate would achieve the piousness of 1) the fruit of all types of Thapa/austerities 2) achieves the fruit of performance of all types of Yajja 3) achieves the fruit of performance of all kinds of charities and 4) achieves the fruit of performance of all Vaidhika Karma prescribed in the scriptures. They have achieved the piousness of the constant recitation of the sacred names of Rama, attained purity of mind, freed from Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, interest in worldly matters and attachments. Oh! Tulsidas, leave all the trepidations and anguish, interest in worldly matters and bondage, and continuously recite the Ramanama which would cut off all the sins and Samsarabandha.”
