Chapter - 119 -Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sharanagathi to get freed from the Garbhavasadhi

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho,
where do I go? Whom do I seek protection from the sufferings and grief of
Samsara? Who will listen to this Jeeva who has not followed any of the
austerities, vows, celibacy, Shama, Dhama, Sathyam, Shaucham, Astheyam,
Arjjavam, Athmavichara, Swadhyaya, etc..? Oh! Prabho, you are the safest asylum
in the three worlds for the Sadhanaheena Jeeva who have been drenched in worldly matters, bodily pleasures, Ahamkara, Mamakara, etc. Oh! Jagadeesh,
you are that all-pervasive supreme Bhramam, you are the essence of the Universe and
its living and non-living things, you are the protector of the same, hence
whoever taken shelter at your lotus feet would easily cross the unfathomable
ocean of Samsara. Oh! Prabho, you have rushed
to save the Gajaraja/elephant who cried for help when he was all alone struggling
to pull out the leg stuck in the mouth of the crocodile, he was abandoned by
his family and friends after a long battle, Oh! Prabho, you are the one rushed
to save him, leaving your celestial vehicle Garuda. Oh! Prabho, you have
protected the Papabhandar/storehouse of sins, like this Jeeva from the mother’s
womb, and continued to protect till date I have been ungrateful to you,
drenched in Mahamoha, attached to material welfare and people. Oh! Prabho, I am
that Kuputhra, Kroora, and worthless Jeeva, Oh! Prabho, you have performed the
final rite of Jatayu and liberated him from the Samsara, although he was born
in a lowly clan, consumed meat all his life, he did not follow any austerities,
all that he was selflessly served you. Oh! Balihari, you are the only one who could
protect me from the sufferings of the Samsara, I am worn out of interest in worldly matters and attachment to people, Ahamkara, and Mamakara. Oh! Prabho,
if you delayed to protect me, I may hurl into Garbhavasadhukham/suffering as the fetus in mother’s womb and would be born as Kuputhra. Oh! Prabho, kindly
liberate me from the Garbhavasadhukham and sufferings of Samsara/Papa, Shoka,
Thapa as well.”
