Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho, Oh! Sri Hari, I have failed to achieve the ultimate object of life, I did not strive to attain the four Purusharththa such as Dharma/righteousness, Arththa/wealth, Kama/desires, and Moksha/liberation from the grief of worldly existence and repeated births. Oh! Prabho, I have wasted the important phases
of life such as Balyavastha/childhood, Kaumaravastha/adulthood, and youth
engaged in various amusements, chasing after wealth, money, richness, fame,
wife, children, companion and relatives of fleeting nature, thereby by constantly thrown into grief and agony. I am unfortunate, wicked, and deceitful I did not
sing in praise of your glories or worship at your lotus feet or observe
austerities, vows, celibacy, truthfulness, non-violence, Shama, Dhama, Dhaya,
Dhanam, Swadhyaya, etc. Oh! Prabho, you are the savior of distressed Jeeva, you
are too kind and compassionate to them, kindly remove my three kinds of grief.
Oh! Prabho, I am a grave sinner, kindly provide shelter at your lotus feet, so
that I can cross the ocean of worldly existence and repeated births as well.”
