Chapter – 262-  Sur -Vinaya – Pathrika –Whoever follows righteousness/Dharma would remain protected - Nobility, truthfulness, morality

Sri Surdas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho, Oh! Sri Hari, no one will address you as ‘Bhakthapavana’ although you are beloved of your devotees, the Veda and scriptures highly praise you as “Pathithapavana’, you are the savior of distressed Jeeva, you are impartial to Jeeva, I have committed several sins by words, and deeds, and thoughts, therefore you have an abundance of love towards the sinners like me too. Oh~ Prabho, your Parshadh/attendants Jaya and Vijaya were cursed by the Sanakadhis to be born on Earth, you have been too kind to your attendants as well, and you have provided them three births as the demons 1)  Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha in the Sathyayuga 2) Ravana and Kumbhakarnna in the Threthayuga and 3) Dhanthavakthra and Shishupala in the Dwaparayuga and in the three Yuga you have incarnated as Varaha, Narasimha, Rama, and Krishna to liberate them. Oh! Prabho, the demon Hiranyakasha seized mother earth and hid her under the ocean, you have incarnated as wild board and plunged under the ocean and killed the demon. Hiranyakashipu schemed against his own son, your child devotee Prahladha, you have incarnated as Narasimha and ripped off the chest of the demon. Oh! Prabho, the demon Ravana abducted your consort Jagathjanani Devi Sita, while you have personified as Rama, you had a fierce battle with Ravana and killed his entire clan, thus Ravana and Kumbakarnna got liberated. Oh! Prabho, Dhanthavakthra, and Shishupala who took great pleasure in abusing you, finally got liberated in the large assembly of Pandava’s Rajasuya Yagna.  The serpent Lord Adishesha with the thousands of hoods has been your inseparable companion and a sincere attendant who served you as a bed to reclaim for Lord Vishnu. Oh! Prabho, the female demon Poothana disguised as a beautiful young lady and approached you to feed her bosom full of toxic poison, you squeezed out her Prana with the milk and provided Paramapadham. Oh! Prabho, Sri Krishnachandra, while Bhishma Pithamaha was on the bed of arrows for several days on the battlefield under the scorching heat, among the dead bodies and vultures, the moment he witnessed your pleasing smile, he forgot all the sufferings and began to explain the Rajyadharma, Sthreedharma, Mokshadharma, Puthradharma, etc. to Yudhishtira, all the deities, Rishis, Sages were assembled before him. Oh! Prabho, the twice-born Ajamila was horrified on the deathbed witnessing the dreadful emissaries, cried out for his younger son ‘Narayana’, and got liberated instantly. Oh! Prabho, you are impartial to all, and you have nothing to do with the Jeeva who perform Dharma/righteousness, Karma/deeds, whoever performs the righteous deeds would get liberated in due course of time. Oh! Prabho, the Santh, Mahathma, and noble souls sing in praise of your endless glories, and emphasize that you have incarnated to reduce the burden of the Earth, and liberate the sinners. Oh! Prabho, you are the destroyer of sufferings of the Jeeva, why do not you liberate me from the Thapathraya/three kinds of grief? and your status won’t lessen if you reduce my burden.”
