Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sri Seetha Ramarppanamasthu – The concluding part of Sri Vinaya Patrika - Sharanagathi

Chapter 216 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sri Seetha Ramarppanamasthu – The concluding part of Sri Vinaya Patrika - Sharanagathi

In the grand assembly of the Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, a magnificent throne decorated with precious gem positioned in the middle of the marvelous Hall of Assembly, was occupied by Jagathjannani Jagadamba Paramba Bhagavathi Devi Janaki along with Lord Sri Ramachandhra. Lord Hanuman was seated at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, looking at Prabhu with great admiration and love, without blinking his eyes. Bharath, Lakshman and Shathrughna are immersed in their service to Lord Sri Ramachandra. At that moment, the ‘Vinaya Pathrika’ of Sri Tulsidas Maharaj was delivered to the assembly.  The Bhakthapriya Maruthi Lord Hanuman, Bharatha, Lakshman, and Shathrughna remembered the sincere pleas of Sri Tulsidas Maharaj.  Hanuman and Bharatha whispered to Lakshman not to leave the auspicious opportunity to hand over the Vinaya Patrika to Lord Sri Ramachandra, ultimately the Vinaya Patrika was handed to Prabhu.

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Lakshman after listening to the instructions of Bharatha and Hanuman, began to speak to Lord Sri Ramachandra “Oh! Prabho, there is an ardent devotee of you finding immense pleasure in the recitation of ‘Sri Ramanama’ in this vicious Kali era, and he has sent a very special message to you in the name of ‘Vinaya Pathrika’, kindly take a look into it.” Soon the people and ministers assembled in the huge hall raised from their seats and chorused ‘It is true, we all know him’. The most promising and compassionate Lord Sri Ramachandra smiled and replied ‘Yes I know, I have heard about him too'. Sri Gusayi must have appealed to Sri Janaka Nandhini beforehand; hence she must have recommended the name of Tulsi several times to Lord Sri Ramachandra. The next thing, Sri Raghunath took the Vinaya Patrika in his hand and signed it, I have got immensely delightful watching my success to persuade Lord Sri Ramachandra and blissfully took shelter at his lotus feet forever.”

Chapter 215 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj’s pleas to Lord Hanuman, Bharatha, Lakshman, and Shathrughna

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Pavanakumara/son of Lord Vayu, Oh! Shathrughna/younger brother to Rama, Bharatha, Lakshman, Oh! Bharatha/younger brother to Rama, Oh! Lakshman/younger brother to Rama and Bharatha, kindly pass the information about the miserable state of the Dheena Sadhanaheena Tulsi to Lord Sri Ramachandra. I believe it would provide an abundance of devoutness to this weak and distressed Tulsi, and Lord Sri Ramachandra would consider the ‘Vinaya Pathrika’ as the heart of Tulsi. Oh! Prabho, the intellectuals, Santh, Mahatmas are always received with great admiration in the assembly of the Kings, and there is no doubt in it. But I am Heena Sadhanaheena Tulsi drenched in Mahamoha/ignorance and illusion, did not perform any Vedhokthamarga rites, or austerities, Shamadhamadhi, Bhramacharya, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, etc. hence I can’t achieve the grace of the Lord Sri Ramachandra without your recommendation. Oh! Prabho, it would multiply your fame, honor, and Lord Sri Ramachandra would get immensely pleased and praise your action, therefore kindly look for a most promising and suitable opportunity, and put a word about this weak and failing Tulsi to Lord Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Prabho, kindly introduce this Heena Sadhanaheen Tulsi to the Kripalu Sharanagathavathsala Sri Ramachandra, so that I would achieve his Kripa to get rid of grief of Sasmara and Samsara chakra.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Paramaraththa Thaththva – All the material matters/Prapancha/Prakrithi undergoes constant transformation and ruin – Jeevathma is Paramathma/indestructible Purusha

Chapter 214 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Paramaraththa Thaththva – All the material matters/Prapancha/Prakrithi undergoes constant transformation and ruin – Jeevathma is Paramathma/indestructible Purusha

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Sri Ramachandra, who is most promising to me in this world? Oh! Prabho, you are that Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam reside as a soul in the Jeeva and you are the sources of the functioning of the mind, intellect, Prana, Ahamkara, Chithth, Karma, and Gnanendhriyas,  etc. the Jeevathma and Parmathma are inseparable hence you are my only relative. Whoever achieved the Paramarththa Thaththva/ SATH/the knowledge of ‘self, the indestructible Purusha who is beyond words, mind, intellect, changeless, pure, unblemished, free from afflictions, eternal, and the Prapancha/Prakrithi/ASATH, material matters and infinite Nama, Roopa, and Dhrishya has fleeting nature, got rid of illusion/ignorance, Ahamkara, Mamakara, interest in worldly matters, and infinite Nama, Roopa, Dhrishya, had crossed the unfathomable ocean of Samsara and Samsarachakra  as well. All the relationships formed in the several births were out of Maya/illusion, ignorance is meaningless, like the countless outer layers of the plantain shoot. The attraction towards the Samsara/infinite Shabdha, Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa, and Gandha are like the ornament of gold attached to the worthless and colorful glass pieces. Oh! Pitha, kindly read the ‘Vinaya Pathrika’ written by  Dheen/weak and failing Sadhanaheen/lacks austerities Tulsi all by yourself, kindly do not allow anyone to read it, others may leave some of the contents by mistake, or add up something which was not intended to say. I have written whatever I have felt true to my heart, hence you read it by yourself. Oh! Prabho, kindly shower your compassionate grace upon me, so that I will get rid of the impurities of the mind, Ahamkara, Mamakara, interest in infinite Nama, Roopa Dhrishya, and worldly matters, after that you can discuss with the ministers of your assembly, and do whatever apt for Tulsi.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sharanagathi/uninterrupted flow of devotion to achieve the serenity of mind - The attachment to material matters and people that has fleeting nature can't bring permanent happiness or serenity of mind

Chapter 214 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – Sharanagathi/uninterrupted flow of devotion to achieve the serenity of mind- The attachment to material matters and people that has fleeting nature can't bring permanent happiness or serenity of mind

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho where I didn’t visit? Whom I didn’t meet? What I didn’t say? And whom I didn’t bow down my head pleading for a favor? Oh! Sri Ram, until I take shelter at your lotus feet, I didn’t achieve peace not even in my dream. The moment I have taken up austerities, meditation, and contemplation, recitation of your sacred name ‘Ram’, I have experienced the serenity of mind, I have understood that I have been driven madly after the material matters/Prakrithi, infinite Nama, Roopa Dhrishya, that has fleeting nature, and attachment to these Vishayavisha that pushed me into endless grief and sufferings.  I have been hurling in several Yonis of Pashu, Pakshi, Keet, Pathanga, Manushya, Demon, and Devatha, and suffering endless miseries and sorrows of Samsara, I have been spreading hands before the wicked people, visiting them door to door, begging for alms, describing my miserable life were remained unnoticed and unheard, I did not achieve neither peace nor happiness by doing so. Oh! Prabho, I have been wandering without necessities of food and clothing, I was in a chase to protect my Prana, hence I have to beg before the people, leaving my austerities, vows, to protect myself from hunger and thirst. Oh! Prabho, I have been drenched in Mahamoha, Ahamkara, Mamakara, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, and committed various sins, alas! I did not achieve any happiness or peace. Oh! Prabho, the impurities of mind forced me to commit all kinds of sins shamelessly. I have been chasing after the infinite Shabdha/sound, Sparsha/touch, Rasa/taste, Roop/appearance and Gandha/smell, to satisfy my sense, alas! all I have earned is fear, agony, and grief. Oh! Prabho, none of the Jeeva have achieved happiness and serenity of mind immersed in the toxic poison of worldly matters and interest in material matters and people, instead, they were thrown to utter gloominess and grief, even the Kings and rulers of stately pleasures did not achieve happiness and serenity of mind due to their Mamahoma/ignorance and illusion. Oh! Prabho, I have failed to achieve serenity of mind indulging in worldly matters and attachment to material matters and people that have momentary life, hence I have taken shelter at your lotus feet, I have understood the peace and serenity is vested on your lotus feet, not in the Vishayavisha/worldly matters. Oh! Dhasharathakumara, you are eminent in the three worlds, the Vedas, scriptures, and the deities singing in praise of your endless glories, Oh! Prabho, Tulsi has taken shelter at your lotus feet, and reverentially bow down before you, kindly shower your compassionate grace upon me. Oh! Prabho, you are Sharanagatha Rakshaka, Pathithapavana who protects the Jeeva who have taken shelter at your lotus feet; hence I am certain that I would achieve the happiness and serenity at your lotus feet.”

Chapter 214 – Sri Vinaya Patrika – The life of Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – The splendor of Mahatmas -Sri Ramanama Mahima

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho, I have been door to door describing my miserable state to the Master’s on the Earth, there are eminent and kind people on the Earth capable to destroy the sufferings and grief from eight directions, but none of them heard my cries or not interested to listen to my pleas. Oh! Prabho, my parents discarded me like a worm, they abandoned me like the serpent remove its outer skin and walk away from it. Whom do I get angry on? Why should I blame them? Oh! Prabho, I was born ill-fated, people considered me as the most unfortunate creature, hence they refused to touch even my shadow. Oh! Prabho, the Santh Mahatmas witnessed my grief and pain, comforted and advised me not to get perplexed, and they were too kind and given me shelter, further, they have introduced me to the meditation of the supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra who is too kind and compassionate to Jeeva who have taken shelter at his lotus feet.  They enlightened me with the knowledge of pure devotion at the lotus feet of supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra who did not leave the Pamar/dull, ignorant, Pashu/animals and birds, Pathanga/flies who have taken shelter in him. Oh! Prabho, I have become yours from that day onwards, taken up practices and austerities, meditation and contemplation at your lotus feet. Oh! Prabho, the recitation of your name brought an abundance of auspiciousness in my life, when I think of all those, I feel ashamed of not taking up the austerities and meditation with sincerity and devotion, I have been drenched in Mamamoha/ignorance and illusion, Ahamkara, Mamakara, lust, desire, ego, pride, jealousy, etc. chasing after material welfare and bodily pleasure, hence I do not deserve your compassionate grace, I haven’t performed any religious or spiritual rite of Vedokthamarga that makes you feel happy.  Oh! Sharanagatha Vathsala, how do I praise your generosity and nobleness?”
