Sri Shakthi, Your momentary looks are filled with various emotions, your glance
towards your consort Lord Shiva is full of love and your glances at others are
aversion, your glance at Ganga is full of envious, while listening to the heroic
deeds of Lord Shiva your glance turns wondrous, your glance becomes terrified
at the serpents worn as ornaments by Lord Shiva, your glance becomes joyous
while you meet your companions. Your
fleeting looks are marvelous and red in color which represents the valor in
you. Oh! Janani who is the mother of Universe, I shall
pray for your glance filled with compassion.

Sri Shakthi, daughter of Himavan, You have those marvelous eyes that has
extended up to ears which has the resemblance of the bow of Lord
Kamadeva. The astonishing
eyelashes resemble the feathery wings attached to the cupid arrow. Your beautiful eyes and eye lashes has
the power to disturb the serenity of the mind of Lord Tripurari, who is the destroyer of
the three cities.
Oh! Goddess
Sri Shakthi, Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra ceased to function at the
time of deluge. Your three
eyes reveal three different colors after applying the shades which represents
the important qualities of Rajas, Sathva and Tamas to recreate the trinities.

Sri Shakthi, whose heart is immersed in the thoughts of Lord Pasupathi, Your three merciful eyes are in colors
of Red, White and Black which resembles the three holy river Sonabhadhra, Ganga
and Yamuna who is daughter of Lord Surya respectively. The confluence of these sacred rives
was introduced by you to wash off our sins and purify us.

Sri Shakthi, as per the learned men it is believed that the deluge occur when
your eyes are closed and the creations recommences when you open your
eyes. Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi,
I shall earnestly pray to never close your eyes and protect the universe from the
deluge.

Sri Shakthi, Oh! Aparna, your beautiful eyes has stretched up to ears which
creates an impression that the striking fishes swimming crosswise in the water,
as if complaining the movements of them to your ears. Your lotus eyes avoid the bud of blue
lily during the day hours and returns to witness the blue lily come into flower
in the night hours.

Sri Shakthi, I am your passionate devotee in a miserable state living far away
from you, I shall earnestly prays to bathe me in the ocean of your compassion. Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, I shall request you
to shower your divine and merciful glance on me, with those beautiful eyes
shines like the slightly opened bud of blue lily, in the same manner Lord
Chandra illuminates the dark forest and palaces.

Sri Shakthi, daughter of King of Mountains, the marvelous rim between the eyes
and ears gave out an impression of flower bow of Lord Kamadeva, the stunning
glance of your beautiful eyes extended up to your ears gives out an impression
that the arrows are ready to discharge.

Sri Shakthi, Your mirror like cheeks reflects the pair of ear studs adorned,
gives out an impression of chariot with four wheels. Lord Manmatha desires to ride on this
magnificent chariot to entice Lord Shiva, who is mounted on a chariot made of Earth
has Lord Surya and Lord Chandra as its wheels.

Sri Shakthi, Your melodious voice like nectar stream incessantly to the ear
stud of Goddess Sri Saraswathi. Goddess
Sri Saraswathy quavers her head in appreciation and her precious ear stud makes
jingling sounds.
