Sarvebhyo Devebhyo Nama: - Our humble
salutation to Lord Ganesha who is the symbol of Pranava Manthra ’Om’ and chief
of Ganas, kindly accept our oblations in the sacrificial fire, you are the
symbol of supreme knowledge and wisdom, your glories are beyond description,
you are superior among the deities who receives initial oblation, you are the
symbol of supreme Bhramam, kindly listen to our prayers and accept our honors. I shall meditate upon Lord Vishnu who is
attired in majestic white garments, he has the complexion of dark clouds, he
has four hands and ever smiling face and he is the remover of all obstacles.
Prabhathe Udbhudhya - I shall envision
the glorious form of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi on the tip of hands, Goddess Sri
Saraswathi on the middle portion , and Goddess Sri Gauri at the end
respectively, in the early morning hours of dawn.
Pratha: Dharshanam - Its auspicious to
look at the mirror or brown colored cow, king or Acharya/Preceptor, or an
wealthiest man who is offering food as charity to the needy people in the early
morning hours of dawn. It is highly
auspicious to have look at the saintly people and virtuous, dip in the holy
waters or being in the association of saints or holiest men while having dip in
the holy waters.
Prithvi Sthuthi - Oh! Consort of Lord Vishnu/Vishnupathni/Bhoodevi,
who is attired in ocean and highest of the peaks as her majestic garments, I
shall repeatedly prostrate before you and kindly forgive the touch of our feet.
Theertha Snanam – I shall remember the
glorious name of Lord Govinda while taking bath, I shall always recite the sacred
name of Lord Govinda, I shall always meditate
upon the splendid name of Lord Govinda, and I shall always eulogize the
glorious name of Lord Govinda. Oh!
Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswathi, Narmadha, Sindhu and Kaveri, kindly shower
your eternal presence in the water.
Oh! Ganga, Sindhu, Saraswathi, Yamuna, Godavari, Narmadha, Krishna,
Bheemarathi, Phalgu, Sarayu, Srigandaki, and Gomathi, Kaveri, Kapila, Prayaga,
Vinatha and Nethravathi, who are initiated from the lotus feet of Lord Hari,
kindly shower all kinds of auspiciousness to us.
Deepa Sthuthi – I shall prostrate before
the sacred light, kindly shower all the auspiciousness along with good health,
wealth and prosperity, and eradicate all our wickedness. I shall prostrate before the sacred light in
the evening hours of dusk, which is the symbol of Parambhrama and Lord
Janardhana as well. I shall earnestly
pray that sacred light in the evening hours of dusk to eradicate all our sins
and perils.
Thulsi Vandhanam – I shall prostrate
before Goddess Thulsi who is the closest associate of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi,
she is the symbol of auspiciousness, she is the destroyer of sins and showers
abundance of pieties to the worshiper, she is worshiped by Maharishi Narada and
she is the darling of Lord Narayana. Whoever remembers the sacred names of
Panchamathas such as Gayathri, Thulasi, Ganga, Kamadhenu and Arundhathi on
daily basis would be relieved from the severe sins and perils.
Go Vandhanam - I shall prostrate before Devi Surabhi who is
unblemished, she is the bathed by all the sacred waters and she fulfils all the desires of the worshiper.
Surya Sthuthi – I shall prostrate before
Lord Surya/Savithre who is the sole spectator of the changes in the Universe,
illuminates the entire Universe with his supreme brilliance and witnesses the
destruction of the Universe at the end of the Yuga. He represents the Trinities/Virinichi-Bhrama/
Narayana/ Shankara who possess Thrigunas.
Prarthana – I shall prostrate before the
supreme Bhramam ‘Omkara’ which provides Bhukthi and Mukthi as well, I shall
regularly meditate upon the supreme Bhramam which is in the form of Bindhu, it
is flawless and whole.
