Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Samsara Chakra/It is not the first birth and won’t be the last either – The Vishaya and Bhoga hurls the Jeeva into Janana Marana

Chapter – 138 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  – Samsara Chakra/It is not the first birth and won’t be the last either – The Vishaya and Bhoga hurls the Jeeva into Janana Marana

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ignorant, where are you hurrying to achieve material well-being and bodily pleasure? You are abandoning the nectar-like lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, and running after the Vishayaroopi Mrighathrishna/reflection of water on the desert. Oh! Jeeva, this is not your first birth and won’ be last either, you have been to several Yonis of birds, animals, reptiles, Devatha, Manushya, Rakshas, etc. in all those births you have made your own families, father, mother, brother, house, wife, children, relatives and companions, etc. you have been attached to the people and material matters in all those births too. Oh! Ignorant, your love and attachment/Vishaya and Bhoga in the material matters and people hurled you in different Yonis, and you have experienced hellish tortures. You haven’t learned the Mukthi Marga in any of those births, and you have not learned the way to get rid of the Samsara Chakra/Janana Marana. Oh! Ignorant, this is not your first birth, you have been into several Yonis and have experienced grief and sorrows of worldly existence, after all these, your chase for the material matters, wealth, possession, fame, richness, money, attachment to wife, children, relatives, and companions, etc. haven’t stopped. Oh! wicked, do you expect the Bhogaroopa ghee poured will reduce the Kamanaroopi Agni/fire in you? Oh! Ignorant, the Bhogavasana increases the Kamana, ultimately push the Jeeva into deep distress, eventually the absence of material matters, comforts, and people will put you in extreme grief. Oh! Jeeva, understand that the people and the wealth, possession, fame, money, richness you have taken pride in will disappear in due course of time, hence abandon the interest in Vishayavisha, it cannot provide happiness not even in your dreams. The Veda describes the Vishayaroopi wealth as the source of grief, the interest in material matters and people, have fleeting nature, therefore the attachment to impermanent Prakrithi would cause intense grief and agony, the Virakthamthma who is free from the interest in worldly matters and bondage remain in supreme bliss. Oh! Jeeva, your days on the Earth are numbered, your life span is getting reduced in every second, you have wasted the precious birth as a human. Oh! Tulsidas, the Kalaroopi serpent is swallowing the Samsara, do not know when will be your turn.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – The eternal bliss is Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Paramambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva – The materials matters have impermanent nature cannot provide permanent bliss

Chapter – 137 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  – The eternal bliss is Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Paramambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva – The materials matters have impermanent nature cannot provide permanent bliss

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Mind, the birth as a human is rare to achieve, and the life span is too short in the Kali era, hence do not leave the opportunity to practice devotion by word, mind and deed and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra,  follow the instructions of the preceptor, be in the association of Santh, Mahathma, noble-souls, undertake austerities, meditation and contemplation of supreme Lord, Shamadhamadhi, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, etc., to get rid of impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara and Mamakara, redundant thoughts and make your life serene and fruitful. The demon Sahasrabhahu and Ravan were Mahaprathapi, but did not escape from the clutches of the ‘Time’, had to meet their terrible death. The Jeeva who take immense pleasure and pride in the wealth and possessions accumulated have to leave the world empty-handed. The Jeeva who spent whole life for family, wife, children, relatives, and companions, also have the same fate to leave them one day. Oh! Ignorant, all these relationships you have formed will leave you at the end, none of them can follow you, then why don't you abandoning them right now? You have been practicing the same in several births and hurling yourself into the cycle of Janana Marana, hence leave your expectation and attachments in the Samsara and contemplate upon the all-pervasive Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Paramambhramam resides as a soul in you, why do not you practice Bhagavath Prema? Oh! Ignorant, wake up from the sleep of illusion, contemplate and meditate upon the Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, and abandon interest in worldly matters, possession, money, richness, wealth, fame, attachment to wife, children, relatives, and companion, that has impermanent nature. Oh! Ignorant, there is no happiness vested in the material matters or attachment, all those material matters have temporary nature, then how could they provide permanent bliss? The eternal bliss is Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Paramambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, it has neither birth nor death, free from affliction, it is pure, unblemished, and changeless. Oh! Tulsidas, the lust and desires/Vishaya and Kamana, are like the ghee poured on the fire and it has no end, it can be put off only with the pure love and devotion to the Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parmamabhramam.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – The significance of Bhakti Gnana and Vairagya

Chapter – 136 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  – The significance of Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Prabho, the illustrious Sages, Veda, and Puruan affirms that the Jeeva who is Bhagavathvimukh/afar from the practice of devotion, experiences the sufferings of Thapathrya as unbearable, I haven’t taken shelter at your lotus feet, haven’t practiced austerities, Japa or worship of you, I haven’t practiced Bhakti or Vairagya, I have been chasing after material welfare and bodily pleasure. The Jeeva who have achieved Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya, perceives the Sacchidhanandha Swaroopa Parmathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, realizes Oneness-in-all, won’t chase after material welfare or bodily pleasure of Mithyaroopi Samsara, like the Hiran/deer takes pleasure in the nectar sitting on the lap of the full moon, does not chase after Mrigathrisha/reflection of the water in the desert. The practice of reading various scriptures, Veda, Vedantha, scriptures and sacred texts, etc. wouldn’t remove the ignorance, it would be like the parrot’s mimicry but understand nothing, parrot tightens the hook by itself, and get caged in all life, never make an effort to get out of the hook. In the same manner, the ignorant Jeeva get fasten to the Vishayavisha like the interest in worldly matters, richness, wealth, money, fame, possession, attachment to wife, children, relatives, companions, etc. with the expectation of happiness out of it pushes the Jeeva into deep distress and grief at the loss of wealth, or separation of the people, sadly even after experiencing several setbacks, the Vishayijeeva do not leave its foolishness in the chase of material welfare and bodily pleasure. Oh! Prabho, I have not earned the Sadhanaroopi wealth such as austerities, Shama, Dhama, Sathyam, Shaucham, Dhaya, Dhanam, Ahimsa, Arjjavam, Bhramcharya, Astheyam, etc. or I haven’t achieved any Siddhi. Oh! Prabho, I haven’t learned Veda and Vedanta, or haven’t practiced Japa and Thapa, or I haven’t practiced the Pranayama/breathe control. Oh! Prabho, Tulsidas has one and only wealth of immense faith on the Karunabhandar/treasure house of mercy Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra, that would remove my Bhavabhaya/sufferings and anguish of Samsara, and liberate from the Janana Marana as well.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sharanagathi to achieve Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya

Chapter – 135 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  – Sharanagathi to achieve Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Mind, why are you wandering all over? Listen to me carefully, as long as you keep yourself away from the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, none of your Sadhanas, austerities, Yoga, Kriyas performed with selfish motive and mere show-off, etc. won’t eliminate your grief. The illustrious Sage Shuka proclaims that Bhagavath Vimukh Kriya/ any rites or practices, and crores of Sadhanas cannot remove the Thapathraya/Adhidheivik – grief from natural calamities, drought, famine, flood, epidemic, etc., Adhibhauthik – grief caused by the attachment to material matters, richness, wealth, fame, possession, people, etc., and Adhyathmik – grief caused by aging, illnesses, and death. Any Sadhana without the sincere devotion and faith in supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra is worthless as churning the water for butter, therefore, the Sadhanas performed while taking pleasure in the material matters and getting attached to people, wealth, fame, money etc. Ahamkara, Mamakara, with the impurities of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, will not bring any fruitful results. Oh! Mind, leave your interest in worldly matters, Ahamkara and Mamakara, interest in Shabdha, Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa, and Gandha, the addiction to the infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya is a mere illusion/unreal/Maya, and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Mind, the worship of Lord Sri Ramachandra is effortless, he resembles the dense wood of virtues, the veneration of lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra would provide Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya, Shanthi, Sukha, and auspiciousness. Oh! Mind, the Shastra, Veda, scriptures, and sacred texts, illustrious Rishis and Sages, and deities affirm that Jeevathma is Paramathma, the all-pervasive supreme Bhramam is indestructible Purusha resides as a soul in the Jeeva and the Prakrithi /infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya has fleeting nature, hence abandon the interest in worldly matters/Prapancha and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Tulsidas, without taking shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra it is impossible to achieve his grace, otherwise, the ignorant Jeeva would remain as the cow on the riverbank of Ganga dies of thirst.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Ramanama Mahima – The significance of Bhakti/devotion

Chapter – 134 -Sri Vinaya Patrika  – Ramanama Mahima – The significance of Bhakti/devotion

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Ram, Oh! Nath, I have heard of your nobleness and kindness to your devotees, kindly protect me. Oh! Prabho, the evilness of the Kali era destroyed the ways to achieve Paramarththa and Moksha, it ruined the superior methods to achieve Moksha and auspiciousness, it wiped off  all the austerities such as Shama, Dhama, Shaucham, Sathyam, Dhaya, Ahimsa, Astheyam, Bhramacharya, Arjjavam, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, etc. thus the ways to get rid of the grief of Samsara has become impossible, hence I have drenched in the Ahamkara, Mamakara, Dhambha, interest in worldly matters, possession, richness, fame, money, attachment to wife, children, relatives, and companion, etc., taken great pleasure in the infinite Shabdha, Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa, and Gandha.  Oh! Prabho, my mind, and intellect are easily get wedged to the infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya which could provide nothing but grief, in this way I have mounted immense grief, thus pleasant things are running out of hand, and the unwanted things added up in the life which took away serenity of mind, whenever I work to bring pleasantness in life, all that I am earning humiliation and grief.  Oh! Prabho, my mind, and intellect drenched in Ahamkara, Mamakara, lust, desire, ego, anger, pride, and jealousy, therefore I lost peace and serenity of mind, constantly pushed to redundant thoughts and anxiousness. Oh! Prabho, the absence of serenity of mind thrown me to fall sick, I am worried of illness too. My Karam, Vachan, Man has become impure, even though I have been deceitful in the whole life, I have made an honest and fair relationship with you, I am fortunate that you have accepted the relationship with this wicked Tulsi.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Ramanama to get rid of grief of Samsara

Chapter – 133 -Sri Vinaya Pathrika  – Ramanama to get rid of grief of Samsara

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, if you have no love or devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Raghuram who is the ocean of mercy, then the rarest birth that has achieved as a human is worthless. The Parmalabha/fruitfulness of the birth as a human is the achievement of Ananya Bhakti at the lotus feet of Supreme Lord. The fortunate and intelligent Jeeva abandons the Vishayavisha/toxic poison like the interest in worldly matters, attachment to material matters, money, wealth, richness, fame, possession, wife, children, relatives, and companion as a Trina/grass, and undertake austerities of Sathyam, Dhaya,  Dhanam, Shaucham, Shamam, Dhamam, Arjjavam, Dhanam, Astheyam, Ahimsa Bhramacharya, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara etc. and contemplate upon that supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra and achieves the fruitfulness of life. The unfortunate Jeeva drenched in the worldly matters, swollen with Ahamkara and Mamakara, ego, lust, desire, anger, jealous and pride engages in various immoral deeds and accumulates sins, thereby hurl into constant miseries and grief, and eventually pushes to the vicious cycle of Janana Marana. Oh! Jeeva, without the pure love and devotion at Lord Sri Ramachandra, the rest of the Sadhana, Yoga, Japa, Thapa, Vairagya, Yajja, Gnana, etc. are worthless, cannot bring the serenity of mind and bliss/Moksha and any Sadhana without devotion are waste of time, energy, and wealth, like the waves of Mrigathrishna. The auspiciousness of the Jeeva vested in the achievement of knowledge from Veda, and Purana, and the Santhbhrindh, Mahatmas, and living under the guidance of a preceptor, taking up the austerities, and Shamadhamadhis, and practice pure love and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, and it is the treasure house of auspiciousness. Oh! Jeeva, if you have understood clearly about the fruitfulness of life, leave your Ahamkara, Mamakara, interest in worldly matters and attachments to material matters and people, and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra that would bring all the auspiciousness in your life. Oh! Jeeva, listen to the teachings of Tulsidas and recite the sacred name of Rama, with love and devotion.”

Sri Vinaya Pathrika – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Ramanama Mahima - Sharanagathi

Chapter – 132 -Sri Vinaya Pathrika  – Ramanama Mahima - Sharanagathi

Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Jeeva, it is never too late to leave your Ahamkara, Mamakara, ego, lust, pride, jealousy, and anger, and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, thereby achieve all the auspiciousness.  The Koshaladhipathi  Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra is the ocean of mercy, you have been too wicked driven afar from the devotion of supreme Lord Rama, you have been drenched in the Vishayavisha, Ahamkara, Mamakara, and impurities of mind. The Bhakth/devotee/Jeevathma and Bhagavan/Paramathma have no difference at all. Oh! Jeeva, think about ‘yourself’ looking on the Manroopi mirror will come to know the mercy of the Lord upon you, it was you have driven yourself afar from him, getting attached to the material matters, wealth, money, richness, fame, possession, wife, children, relatives, and companion, etc. Ahamkara and Mamakara, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya. It was your weakness, and desires brought miseries and sorrows, hence accept the failures that brought constant grief to you. Oh! Jeeva, Lord Sri Ramachandra is kind and compassionate to his devotees, his auspicious grace would remove the ill fortune of several births in no time, all that you have to utter the ‘Ramanama’ with intense devotion and pure love for him and request “Oh!Kripanidhan!  kindly protect me”, there is no one in the three worlds absent from the grace of that Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, and not a single wicked left out to achieve the Kripa of that Lord and transformed into Sadhu/noble, hence take shelter in the ‘Ramanama’.  Oh! Jeeva, if you have not changed your mind after listening to the kindness of Lord Sri Ramachandra to the Vanaras, Sugreevah, Valmiki, Reech Jambavan, Shabari, Nishadharaj Guha, who were taken shelter at the lotus feet of Sri Ramachandra and achieved an abundance of piousness, then you are utterly foolish, none of the Gnana will help you from the miseries of Samsara or Janana Marana Chakra. Did Sugreevah perform any austerities? As soon as he was crowned as the King of Kishkindha, he had forgotten the promise to Rama and lived happily with his family, he had forgotten the sacrifice made by Rama by killing Bali, and carrying those blames in his head.  Did Vibheeshan perform any austerities? As soon as he was taken shelter at the lotus feet of Rama, he achieved the lost glories, later crowned as the King of Lanka and Ananyabhakthi at the lotus feet of Rama. Oh! Jeeva, Sri Raghunath is Sharanagatha Palaka, he has taken the vow to protect his devotees whoever taken shelter at his lotus feet, he doesn’t even look at your mountain-sized accumulated sins of several births.  Oh! Jeeva, the supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra is charismatic, has pleasing nature, he is skillful and extremely valorous to remove the grief of Samsara, he is Kripasagara, hence, you practice the recitation of ‘Ramanama’ and do not concentrate on the unwanted things, he is the protector of Sharanagatha. Oh! Jeeva, whoever taken shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, with intense love and devotion, sing in praise of his virtues with tears, listening to his glorious myths with great love, would get liberated from the sufferings of Samsara and Samsarachakra as well. Oh! Jeeva, do not feel guilty about the years you have spent soaking in the infinite Shabdha, Sparsha, Rasa, Roopa and Gandha. The Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra is the knower of all, he is Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam resides as a soul in you, he is the sole witness of the Jeeva, Oh! Tulsidas, have firm faith in the Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, he has long term relationship with you.”
